1" Standard Chrome Plated Steel Barbell with Spinlock Collars, 5ft/6ft/7ft

This is an excellent bar with plenty of space for weights. So far it has been loaded with up to 120kg with no bending or flexing issues. What I have noticed is the huge difference that moving up to a 7 foot bar from a 5 foot has made in respect of stability. The 7 foot bar requires a great deal more self-stabilisation than the regular 5 foot.Edit - After using the bar for about a month, it has started to bend and flex a great deal using weights as low as 80kg. After working squat sets, we have to spin the bar around and lift against the curve to get it straightened back out. I will be investing in an alternative bar come payday.

Bending already, only had 70kg on it. Collars have been dropping thin bits of metal like paint or coating that cut when you step on them. Very disappointed.

Used once 25kg each side, later on now I noticed bend in part where the weights sit, so bend after 25kg weight, in form of10,10 and 5kg, nothing else, so pretty bad item, sorry terrible item, it must be made of some poor stuff, don't buy unless you want a bent bar

The spins that come with this bar have no rubber inners, no big deal but just thought id point that out. As for the bar when you put roughly 80/90kg on it it has tons of flex. Benchpress at anything over 90kg is made harder due to the amount of flex it has springing back and too.Overall id say this was a good bar for beginners, I wouldn't recommend it for squats or deadlifts, if you want to do these you're best going olympic.

Left it for awhile before posting this review so could try the bar out first. It was a good buy and have not experienced any problems with it even using cast iron weights. The only thing that is slightly different appears to be the weight of the bar. I weighed mine at 8.2 kg others have different weights and it is advertised as 10 kg. Still a great buy.

Bought this for the bench. Wish I'd bought the smaller one but this was on offer. Used up to 80kg regularly could take more but noticed its starting to bend slightly.

This bar is just as good as the write up said. It is exactly what I wanted.
