How many insulin pens can this cooler hold, and what types are compatible?

This insulin cooler can hold at least 8 insulin pens along with other diabetic supplies. With dimensions of 8.5" x 6.1" x 3.3", it fits most insulin pen types. The exact number may vary depending on the pen size and type.

How should I use the ice packs, and how long will the cooler keep insulin cold?

The insulin cooler includes 4 × 160 g ice packs. Freeze for 12 hours before use. Use 2 packs for typical trips to keep insulin between 2–26 °C for about 12 hours at 25–30 °C ambient temperature. The other 2 packs serve as backups for longer trips.

What are the cooler’s size and weight, and what ice packs are compatible?

The insulin cooler measures 8.5" × 6.1" × 3.3" and weighs 227 g (about the weight of a smartphone). It fits ice packs up to 8.1" × 3.2" and 160 g each.

Why is the actual cooling time different from the stated duration?

Cooling time depends on ambient temperature, number of ice packs, freezing duration, and cooler materials. The cooler’s 3-layer design—Oxford fabric, thickened EPE foam, and aluminum interior—combined with 4 × 160 g ice packs, helps extend cooling.

Is this cooler TSA approved?

Yes, it is TSA approved. To comply with airline rules, the ice packs must be fully frozen solid. Once frozen, the cooler can be carried in carry-on or checked luggage. Always check your airline for specific regulations on liquids and gels.
