I'm 200lbs and the straps had no problem keeping me aloft.-size when packed. Fits in a small bag about the size of your hand. You can easily haul this in a day bag with your hammock with room to spare.Cons-:-can't think of any!I've used it only a few times so I cannot comment on durability. However, they feel substantial and we'll made.At my site, I didn't have two trees close enough to be able to hang my hammock. Instead, after a few adult pops and some pouting, I had the bright idea to use my SUV's rear side rails/cross bars as the second anchor point for the Beat Butt straps. They didn't leave a mark. These make your hammock so simple. It’s quick and easy. No tying or knots. Just clipping. You can put your hammock up in literally 5 minutes, you can adjust easily if you don’t like the height. Even if you don’t have a bear butt hammock, you could still probably use these to hang a generic or off brand hammock if it had hooks. 10000/10!!!

Worked like a charm

I used these for the first time on an overnight on the AT. They are strong but relatively light. I like that they have alot of places to hook to instead of just a couple at the end of the strap like alot of others.

I bought a set several years ago for myself and couldn't believe how easy they were to use.I bought my boyfriend a hammock last month and bought him a set of Bear Butts, as well.Simple to use and they don't slip at all. Easiest hammock setup I’ve ever done. These things are absolutely brilliant!!! Have a hammock? You need these! Super lightweight, incredibly easy to use, packing up is a breeze. Took these bad boys on a 6 day outing through the Virginia highlands with my hammock and tarp… these made my setup and tear down every morning and evening a super easy experience. Definitely 100% recommend and will be purchasing more in the future!

The best thing about these straps is that they are so easy to set up! Completely dummy proof and also great quality. I use these straps for my hammock and they hold the weight of two adults (over 300lbs) without a problem. I rate these 5/5!
