What does the stones do?

You put the stones in the velvet bag and put them into the freezer. When your ready for a drink, you can chill your whiskey with the cold stones without watering down your whiskey and changing the flavor

Is This Dishwasher Safe?

As far as we know. We have put them through dishwasher and still good.

I would say they are not on any specific list to be gluten free, so you should test it and let us know if you survive
