Art3d 12-Pack PVC Drop Ceiling Tiles, 2 x 2 ft, Antique Gold

Very happy and will likely be ordering from this company again for other rooms in our historic home. These were easy for my husband and I to put up in our bedroom over the weekend. The adhesive we used worked well and we didn’t have any issue with the tiles falling off. They’re very lightweight but durable, if I’m not mistaken, there are PVC type material, making them lightweight but sturdy. You could easily cut them with a very sharp pair of scissors, but we used a large metal framing square as a straightedge to guide our utility knife. By scoring the PVC tiles along the edge of the square, we were able to make clean, accurate cuts without the blade wandering. Because of this, we realize pretty quickly that itwould be really beneficial to start with a darker ceiling because we didn’t want see the white line from the ceiling peaking through on the edges, AND we didn’t want to paint the entire ceiling! We went ahead and used a 3 inch roller to make a grid using the darkest color we had where the seams would be since the spaces that DIDN’T match perfectly. It hid those lines well so you didn’t end up seeing a white background in the seams. This set us back about 20 minutes because thankfully we were using scaffolding rather than a ladder. When using the adhesive, it was very easy to clean off the excess glue with a damp, large sponge and then come back with a rag to dry it off. As you can see from the video, the texture looks great and adds a lot of character and charm. We are going for dark and moody and I think this added such a beautiful touch that my husband is already talking about doing a similar look for the ceiling in our library and guest room! I’m sharing a before picture and and after video so you can see what a dramatic difference that these made.

Look great, easy install if you’re placing in the grid under ceiling tiles. Just need to paint the metal grid and you’re good to go. Customer support was fantastic when I received a package with less than 12 tiles and shipped another package as a replacement immediately

I really love these. I used them to create a decorative wall in my garden. When the sun is shining on the copper, it is absolutely brilliant.

1. We had a small arch to deal with. That was a challenge. 2. Gorilla glue construction adhesive worked much better. 3. Not exactly 24x24. Buy a few extra ones to be in the safe side. Overall we like the looks and we purchased a sticky back trim to put in the seams. We’re not completely done but we like it.

I used quick grab glue and they went on top of sheet rock. Easy to cut. I started in the corner of the room because when you cut these and place the cut pieces against the wall , it kind of sticks out, see attached pictures.. So not sure how to place trim over it. It is not easy to move the tile once stuck to ceiling. I didn’t over lap them and you can see the seams. I also think they make the ceiling look closer to you. They look better than the messed ip ceiling I had. 4 stars because of the cutting edge looks bad unless you figure out trim

They look awesome! For other buyers, these are intended for inserting into a ceiling grid. So there is no installation material such as tape or adhesive or even the grid they're technically intended for. I did not have a grid so I purchased 15lb double stick tape to install them. They are too thick to cut with scissors but not so thick they're impossible to cut with a blade. I personally overlapped the edges as well.

These look so good on our ceiling and were very easy to install. I absolutely love how it made the room look. The room feels very cozy now too.

I bought these tile for a small bathroom. I will recommend that using a Dremel cutting wheel is fast and effective to cut the sheets to size. Caution….dont linger and keep the tool moving or you’ll risk melting the pvc. Otherwise, I’m just now installing but know that I’ll love the look. Also below is a pic of the glue I’m using. Just place the tile, smooth over it with your hand to set glue and move on to the next. Remember to only place glue in high spots and that a little goes a long way.

I read comments on the best installation being over lapping and that reviewer is an absolute hero. These are easy to cut and install. The whole process for a 4m x 4m room took about 4 hours. It adds a bit of decadence to an otherwise common ceiling. If you are going to add coving I do recommend leaving an inch at the edges to fix the coving to for extra strength.They are a bit pricy though, but you can't argue with the results.

Love these - they were simple to glue up onto ceiling (I used No More Nails adhesive) and we’ve had lots of compliments from visitors.
