If you are a professional who doesn't have a jig like this, then you are not a professional. Two minutes to match it to the hinges. Fifteen minutes to rout two doors and the casings. Not exaggerating. Unless something better comes along, you need this product! The awls that come with it are crap. They both broke on the first hit and I was using a rubber mallet. So just expect to replace those. I just read the other reviews and I don't agree or understand the negative ones. Mine shipped and arrived on time. And why are you trying to use it on a twisted door or casing? Of coarse a straight aluminum tube is not going to fit a twisted door... You expected movement out of the jig?... Really?...

works great, just what I expected.I put up 3 doors and jams already. Easy to under stand . Not complicated at all

Poorly constructed, unclear instructions, difficult to use. Included router accessories don't fit my Craftsman router, one of the most popular routers ever made. Easier and cheaper to cut mortises with a wood chisel. Waste of money, sorry I bought it, wish I had returned it in time.

GOOD TOOL

Not sure if the value to cost ratio is really there for me. I could not figure some things out until I read the manual for the third time and saw a sticker attached to the back page with a errata for use in the US. Event then I still had to make manual adjustments after use. Not sure I would have ordered knowing the issues I would end up having.

I had hoped that this product would help me work a little faster and be easier to use. I learned in my first door that that is not the case. It does not work for 1 3/4 thick doors and does not even have the correct hinge pattern needed. Also I thought it had its own clamps to attach to the door while routering. It does not. And lastly you need a specific router to fasten the router guide to. Anyway this tool may work well under the right circumstance but for the price it’s definitely not right for me. Will be returning it

My review on this item is very good but my biggest problem is that I payed fordelivery and shipping when I recieved the item I had to pay another additionalcost $80.00 to recieve the my order. This I would ask any person orderingthis item to consider cost and double check that you will be paying triple the priceof item ordered.Bogan

This product was excellent value for money, is very well made and saves so much time it is fantastic, would highly recommend.

Excellent piece of kit and well worth the money if you'll be using it a fair amount. The only thing I would say is that when it arrived it appeared to have been opened and not repacked properly as the large section has been quite badly scratched and scored. I would recommend as a product though.

If you’ve used 1 before I don’t need to tell you how quick an easy these our, if you haven’t it’ll change how you fit doors at the time of this review I paid £155 for the jig the cheapest around excellent value next best was £185
