These fittings fit my Midwest and Blitz 5 gallon jugs perfectly. Seem heavy enough to last, but so did the Midwest stuff that cracks easily. Midwest is coarse and Blitz is finer threads. The vent caps fit nothing, but the drill and insert vents work fine.

Good value. Not OEM quality, but a fraction of the cost. Works for me and my old fuel cans. Have to see how long these hold up. Not sure about the add on vents. Nice to include a drill bit.

The vents break shortly after installed. I have drilled holes with the drill bit provided and pushed in the vent to install. All went well, they leaked a little bit, but not much. I then filled the can used it up. I then snap the vent closed to refill. Brought home the full gas cans and when I lifted the vent lid, it broke off at the gas can so the is no way to close it. This happened to three cans so far, either the second or third time I used them. Now I have a hole I cannot close. Also some of the rings that hold the spout did not fit. I got around it by using the old rings with the new spout.

There was nothing not to like (as of now all I have done is swapped out old spouts). It is ingenious that they send two different threaded attachments for the cans. I had four cans and two different thread patterns. No issues since they send both. I was a little anxious reading the 1 star ratings about the nozzle caps not fitting. I had no issues with those either. They also send two different kinds of vent caps: one threaded and one to pop into place (& a drill bit to make a way to pop them into place). I say that to say, I wonder if the 1 star ratings that had trouble with the nozzle caps were trying to use the vent caps . . . Just sayin. It took less than 15 minutes to change out all four of my cans (& snap some pictures). So had an opportunity to use this weekend. MAKE SURE you take advantage of the flexible nozzle and get it in your tank because once the vent cap is open, the flow is FAST out of the can. Yes I spilled, but no leaks from the nozzle. This is still a 5 outta 5 purchase.

bought this kit to redo some gas cans in need of help. let me start with the drill bit that comes with the kit is too big of a bit the Hole it makes for the vent hole the vent cap fits way to lose it stays in place but is loose and you can pull it out with no problem. I ended up buying a package of vents that use a bigger that fit great. the kit comes with two styles of spout caps both caps are made to screw on the spout. one cap is made to slip on over the spout with a ring attached so it is secured to the spout but the threaded cap is too small will not screw on thats the cap I prefer to use. so I am stuck using the other cap. it fits just don't lose it because it doesn't attach to the spout at all. I didn't feel like sending it back I made them work. yes they work but I had to buy another package of vents to make this kit work.

Government regulations are for folks that don’t know how to pour gas out of a gas can. But those spring loaded spouts are a pain and slow filling. And they can’t be used to fill the new inverter\generators unless you remove the spring from the spout. I prefer a flexible spout anyway. This kit comes with four spouts and two different bases for different size necks. If your gas can has a screen in the neck you will have to remove it. Midwest cans have them. There are YouTube videos that will show you how. Just make sure there are no small pieces of plastic in the can after you remove the screen and drill the hole for the breather cap. There is even a 1/2’ drill bit included. If you prefer the safety spout, there are YouTube videos that show you how to remove the spring and then you can keep the spout always in the open position without having to press down against the gas tank lip you are filling. Then you just need to buy the breather caps. If you prefer a flexible spout, this kit is all you need.
