Magnum Elite Ii Leather, Unisex Adults' Work Boots

I walked upstairs and downstairs at work once and flexed my foot. The boots fit me in length okay and my toe does not touch the tip. They are a wide fit for my feet and perhaps they are too wide. There does not seem to be a shank in these boots because they don't seem seem to be any major support on the soles. I can feel the eyelets through the paddding/tongue on my feet and it's a bit uncomfortable. The boot takes a while to put on to to the slow process of loosening the laces and to fasten the laces. It would have been better if the 'eyelets' were the d-ring type like many typical hiking boots so the laces passed through quickly. The laces are not easy to thread through. My main concern is that because the leather seems to be very thin I am not confident they will remain intact. I am worried they would split quite easily. The price for these boots on Magnums site is £200. Amazon price is around £130. I might have kept these boots if the price was £80 or so.I have not option but to arrange a return. Thank you Amazon

I first had a pair of these back in 2009, and they were half a size too big but with a thick pair of socks they were very comfortable. They lasted almost 10 years, before I went on a wet muddy hike and then forgot all about them in the boot of my car, by the time I had found them again the upper material had cracked due to the neglect.I was chuffed to bits to say the least to find new a pair in a half size, they fit better than the old pair, still with plenty of breathing room. Minimal rubbing (although the first proper hike I did in them was far too long!). I'll be sure to look after this pair better, and hopefully they'll last another 10 years. The old pair are now relegated to garden boots.

I purchased my first pair of these back in 2005 and have recently bought a third pair. I use them for tree work/tree surgery work so that involves climbing and very hard wearing ground use. The boots fit well out of the box and then just become more supple and comfortable. they are warm and dry and the only vulnerable part are the eyelets that can rip out - but keep in mind the environment I use them in (not a big deal, just thread the lace through the hole that remains). Compared to similar boots they are surprisingly light and the soles are good Vibram ones that are not stupidly thick.

These are top-class boots and excellent by any standards.They are well made, the sizing is accurate, and they are extremely comfortable once broke-in.They are also waterproof and keep your feet warm and dry in very harsh weather conditions.Highly recommended.

These boots are as comfortable as slippers. I purchased my first pair well over 10 years ago and have just recently bought a replacement pair - And Ive worn them almost every day for work. The old pair have been retired for use on my allotment. If you are looking for tough, strong and comfortable boots, buy these!

Magnum boots are hugely comfortable! This is my second pair. I already have tan Elite Spiders which are incredibly wearable. These Elites IIs are more rugged, with more leather in the uppers. Highly waterproof and well made and an excellent example of why I love Magnum boots!

My third pair of Magnums I've bought for work. They are not the cheapest boot but I can say you will be hard pressed to find better. On days when I'm at work, fairly often they will be on my feet for 14 hours with no discomfort.
