Mighty Bright Blue Xtraflex 2 LED Book Light

Bought this in 2013 and it’s still working in 2022. I would just say the two led lights are quite bright though. Would have much prefer warmer ones. But you can dim the light by switching it to one led only. Other than that, it is an excellent product and great for reading, especially it can be clipped on your book while reading.

I bought this specifically for my Kindle but have been using it in place of my regular bedside lamp for all my reading. It has a relatively long, strong flexible neck, which can be moved into - and will hold - any position. It has a nice deep clip for attaching to a good chunk of pages for stability. There are two light settings (one bulb or 2) and whilst the bulbs are very bright, they are only focussed on a book-sized area so it does not light up the rest of the room as well. It came with the 3 AAA batteries it needs but you can also purchase a mains AC adapter separately, which is great as I will be using it in place of my lamp and so will save on batteries. I have tried quite a few book lights and they are often too dim, don't clasp firmly to the book, do not cover enough of the page or eat batteries - this is the best book light I have had and I am very pleased with it!

We initially bought one for our 6 year old son in the top bunk. It clips on to the bunk headboard (18mm - would fit wider) very easily. There is plenty of light for him while the rest of the room & bottom bunk was kept dark so our daughter can fall asleep easily. We were so impressed we bought a second one for my 4 year old daughter in the bottom bunk along with the mighty bright power adaptor, she finds it very easy to turn on and off. My sons light is still on its first set of batteries a month and a half later and it's used at least 10 mins a night, I'm sure we'll get him the power adaptor too as these lights are being well used. I looked at a lot of different lights but am glad I chose this one, look no further!

My child has had this on her bed for over two years now and she reads every night before going to sleep. The two LED's are bright enough to light up the book she is reading without it lighting up the whole room and waking her sister on the bottom bunk. A really excellent product. I would just say that the batteries only last about a week, which is fine for a camping holiday but at home I would recommend purchasing the Mighty Bright UK Power Adaptor to plug into a mains socket.

Bought this to use with a Kindle as we don't like the covers with built-in lights. They are a nice design, are quite well made and not too badly priced compared to the options of THIS type (e.g. the Belkin e-book light and Kindle cover with built in light). You can use the light with either one or two LEDs lit and we have found one to be more than enough though having the two might come in handy in some circumstances.

For the money, this is a decent little product.The two led's provide good light and the tone is not too harsh for reading. You can also dim the light to one led with a click of the button.It's a bit plasticky but that shouldn't put you off. Time will tell in terms of battery life, but 3 aaa's powering 2 led's suggests that it will be good.

Have purchased three of these - been using for a month now - very bright for size especially on double light setting. Well made, flex adjustment good. A little unstable standing on flat surfaces but clip is perfect for book reading. Did have one faulty light - could turn on but could not turn off with switch, had to disconnect power source each time. Supplier sent a replacement FOC.

Bought 3 of these for my 3 children's cabin and bunk beds and we are delighted with them. Nice and bright and also can be put on a single setting so not so bright which is a good feature, they are sturdy - we have had these some time and 3 children can put them through their paces. We have tried many other bunk lights and ideas and this is the only one we have loved.
