Q: What is the "Print" area of this machine ?

Technically 150x230mm, but that's right to the edge of the bed. I have printed almost to this a few times but it's not great at the limits. In practice 110x180mm is a decent 'working' print area.

Q: Hi, does this printer require any assembly? and does it ship free to Republic of Ireland, thank you.

The Main Printer is fully assembled and ready to go when plugged in.However, partial assembly is required as follows;1. the spool mounting spindles require fitting in the rear wall. (easy)2. The print / work table is supplied loose and requires fitting. This is mounted on springs and requires levelling with some accuracy but the software gives full instructions. (Table Levelling is a feature of all 3d printers so you will have to get used to it.) 3. Transparent side panels and Hinged door to printer front are supplied loose. (Simple nut and bolt assembly) 4. The transparent box which you can see on top is supplied as a 'flat pack' and requires building. (simple nut and bolt but takes a little time. all parts supplied) The function of the box is to help keep heat in and dust out although the printer will work without it. (recommend you build it)Hope this helps. Don't know about shipping to Ireland but would be surprised if they didn't.regards frank

Q: Can you use generic filament with this printer?

yes you can use a standard 1kg spool of filament it is not chipped and you are not tied to any brand thanks
