In my pocket every day!
Awesome design. The driver tool is tough. Bottle opener/pommel/pry bar. Hammer feature is neat.....Just need a little tap? Tap tap tap tap. LOL hey you know you have done it too. The belt clip is nice, but I don't use it. The saw works okay but let's be honest who wants to use a 2.5inch saw even if you have it with you. I rather walk back to the truck and get a proper saw. Price is okay a bit lower would be fairer. Only the blade locks which is important for safety. Not a big deal for the other tools as you won't lose a finger without a lock on those. One other thing... The bottle opener/prybar/hammer. Is also a great fidget toy. I find myself opening and closing to hear the audible click often. Serval styles to choose from camping, picnic. I have the Armbar Trade and the Slim. I prefer to carry the Slim. May also get the Scout too if It's on sale. Yes I

Great EDC, especially for young dads and homeowners.
The Armbar Trade is a great everyday carry option for regular tasks. I use it multiple times a day, from open packages, quick fixes, replacing toy batteries etc. I usually carry a pocket knife or a small fixed blade, but I wanted something with a bit more versatility without the bulk of a full-sized multi-tool. My Leatherman and Gerber multitools were just a bit too heavy or stood-out more than I wanted to for daily carry. This one fits seamlessly in the pocket — compact, practical, and ready when you need it. With regular use and a quick shot of WD-40, the straight blade opens much smoother while still maintaining a solid, confident lock. It strikes a perfect balance between function and convenience, making it an excellent lightweight EDC companion.

High quality and useful for specific applications
Positives -At the $20 price point this is an awesome tool. At $30 it’s still ok but I wouldn’t pay that for it. -I love the straight locking blade. It’s locks very strongly and it’s a good side for a lot of tasks. The overall side of the tool makes this a much more convenient knife to use than a lot of multitools. -The hex bit holder is the real star of the show, and it includes both a philips and flathead. The holder doesn’t truly lock but does snap into place and retains hex bits well. I never realized how much versatility a universal hex bit holder gives a tool like this. I can carry a small container of assorted heads and have more like 20-30 tools in my pocket. That’s a lot easier than carrying two whole sets of Allen keys. On the not so positive side: -I’m not sure how the head of this is in any way a hammer or a useful pry bar. It feels like it’s made of aluminum. It is a nice bottle opener though. -I don’t know why you’d want a saw on a tool like this, and if you’re going to have a saw why not have a can opener instead of an awl? I’d be happy to ditch the saw so that the tool was thinner, or I’d prefer scissors. -The thickness of the tool means it’s not especially comfortable to carry like a regular pocket knife. I usually drop it all the way into my pocket and only clip it to my jeans if I’m going to be using it a lot. It’s just not that comfortable to wear all the time. -I’d really like a little nub to make the knife one-handed opening.

Surprisingly Capable and Compact
I’ve been using the Gerber Gear Armbar Trade 8-in-1 Multi-tool for a few weeks now, and overall I’m really impressed. The build quality is solid, and the tool feels sturdy in hand without being bulky. It fits nicely in a pocket and is lightweight enough to carry every day. The knife is sharp out of the box and locks securely, which gives a lot of confidence when using it. I’ve used the bottle opener and pry bar a few times, and they’ve held up well. The reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is because the tools can be a little stiff to open at first, and the screwdriver isn’t quite as comfortable or stable to use for longer tasks. Also it’s a bit overpriced. $25 is more of a fair price. Still, for a compact multitool, this is a great option with excellent utility for the size. Recommend for anyone looking for a convenient everyday carry tool with real functionality. Just wait for a good discount.

Pretty nice
Overall happy with the purchase. I bought this Armbar to replace a lost Leatherman Skeletool (3rd one). Chose it as it's smaller, is compatible with the skeletools bits I already have and is less than half the price. Quality reflects the cheaper price, most noticeable in the blade metal and it's not as solid as the leatherman, but it's solid enough. Only minor annoyance is that the bits rattle as they are a little bit loose - they are held with a magnet and not a push fit. I don't see them coming out though.
