Pretty good
As described. The seller delivered quickly and it's all packaged sensibly. There were a few more duplicates than I'd imagined but there's enough variety to keep most strobists happy. I got these as a result of a mates recommendation but I think he got his for nothing when, back in the good old days, Rosco were handing them out as samples at camera shows. Lucky sod.TOP TIP - buy a cheap credit card holder for a couple of quid to house them in. It's so much easier to get to the gel you want.Remember, you'll need an adapter to mount these to your flash if you haven't already got one.

Flash Gels
Comes in a plastic container with a paper label on each colour, I personally would only use the yellow end gels but all are unblemished and well presented. I used them to warm up portraits on my 580EX and found I only had to use the gel horizontally on the flash to give the desired effect (covering only half the flash)as covering the flash completely was too much. They come at a good price, and think when I have time will experiment with the other colours. So a good product at a good price.I would recommend these.

So easy to improve the quality of your flash photos
I wish that I had known before how much of a difference using gels with a flash can make to photographs. Gels are a must now for taking flash photos indoors with tungsten and fluorescent lighting. It makes such a difference to the quality of the light. And the CTO gel is a must now for any fill in flash taking outside in bright sunlight and to give that warm glow at the end of the day - golden hour. You need an easy way to attach the gels to the flash unit. I bought a Honl Speed Strap and some velco fasteners which I highly recommend you buy and use.If it is easy you will use them - use them - they do make a difference. And at a relatively low cost. If only all significant improvements in photography were at such a low cost!

Very handy
Something I havent read in any other review is the electrostatic nature of the gels. I find they magnetically stick to the front of my flash (Nissin DI866 Mark II) without any need of tape. Indoors this is very handy as the gels just peel on and off as required (outdoors, wind might make it impracticable not to use tape or a holder). As they are in direct contact with the flash just need to be careful to watch the gels dont get too hot, and because you get around 5 of each gel they can be continually swapped if things heat up.This electrostatic quality might be a freak occurrence unique to my gels (or it might be the flash gun itself) but it is a welcome one.

Rosco Strobist Gel Kit
I chose this set of gels after seeing them being used by someone else who recommended them. Glad I bought them. The kit contains correction gels, neutral gels and colour gels. They fit virtually all shoe mount flashguns and I`ve generally found they simply stay in place without any need for additional bands or tape (not yet tested in high winds). The price point is good. Well worth buying and then experimenting with them.

Left me wondering
Ok, they're gels... and the package is quite complete and has a good range of gels covering almost any situation you might consider. But my package came with gels that didn't match the legend cards that come with them, and all in all it doesn't feel as a cohesive product, much more like something that's put together in a hurry without that much of quality control. Still, like I said, if you don't bother having a gel of a colour that doesn't quite belong there, you'll have plenty to satisfy your needs.

Not bad!
I was lucky to realize that I also needed to buy a "Gel Holder Strap" else I would have been rather frustrated! The Gels themselves are OK - I have no prior experience - but they can "crinkle" due to the heat from the flash (Canon 580EX-II).

Very effective
I was doubtful about these. I did not think they would add enough colour to the flash. Instead I am very pleased with my test shots. The only problem is attaching them to the variety of flash guns I have. I came close to purchasing a holder that is advertised with them but instead have resorted to my trusty supply of Blu-Tack....works every time.
