Best value for the money for 10gbps
The MokerLink 24-Port 2.5G Managed Ethernet Switch has proven to be a solid addition to my network setup. Over several months of use, I’ve experienced no issues with its core performance. The switch delivers excellent speed and reliability, easily handling high-bandwidth tasks across multiple devices without dropping packets or causing bottlenecks. Its 24 2.5G Base-T ports make it an ideal solution for environments that require faster-than-Gigabit connections, especially in setups with newer devices or NAS units that support these speeds. One downside I encountered is with the console port—it doesn’t seem to cooperate as expected. While this hasn’t significantly impacted my use, especially since the web and other management interfaces work just fine, it’s worth noting for those who rely on direct console access for configuration. It feels like a missed opportunity, but not a dealbreaker given the overall functionality and stability the switch provides. A major plus is the MokerLink’s ability to tolerate heat well. I’ve placed it in a moderately warm environment where many devices struggle, and it has performed flawlessly without any signs of throttling or overheating. Additionally, it’s surprisingly quiet for its use case, making it a good fit for home offices or smaller server rooms where noise can be a concern. The fans, if any, operate discreetly, and the unit doesn't contribute noticeable ambient sound even when under load. This awesome switch offers outstanding value for its feature set and price point. Its mix of 2.5G and 10G ports, along with robust heat tolerance and low noise, makes it a versatile choice for both home and small business networks. While the console port’s unresponsiveness is a minor annoyance, it doesn’t overshadow the switch’s overall performance and reliability. For anyone seeking a high-speed, heat-resilient switch that operates quietly, this is an excellent option.

Budget-friendly 2.5G switch with a small footprint
I was upgrading my in-home network to 2.5G to go along with an internet speed upgrade, the new modem had a 2.5G port and my internet speed was 1.25G (someday to increase to 2G). Along with 2.5G ethernet on my PC and my Wi-Fi router, this switch is able to pump out maximum speed between devices. You will definitely want to enable "large frames" on your devices to get the most out of it if you are copying/streaming large files between devices on your network. With large frames enabled, I measured 2.48Gbit/s which is about as good as it gets! I got another (managed) version of this switch, and connected them via the 10G SFP+ port and it seems to work fine. Link speed on that port shows as 10G from the managed switch console. I cannot easily measure speed on that port with my current equipment, but everything appears to be working properly.

A+ Customer Service
I bought this switch in August and it completely failed last week. I contacted Mokerlink customer service and they sent me a new switch within days. So, I give them an A+ for excellent customer service. And, the new switch works perfectly.

Switch Failed after 10 months
I have the 8 gig service from google fiber and this switch worked great for the first 6 months, after that I started noticing inconstant speeds across different ports. Eventually if I wanted anything over 3500mb I could only use 5 of the 8 ports. Fast forward another couple of months and now the switch is dropping connections multiple times an hour on every port. Usually lasting 5-10 seconds, just long enough that I am disconnecting from video conferencing meetings at work. In the evenings my wife and I can not play online games without getting disconnects.

Nice switch but not going to be a consistently fast, port to port, on a fully populated switch
Really should be 3.5 starts. Yes, nice switch for an unmanaged switch but not going to be a consistently fast, port to port, on a fully populated switch. Solid case, nice construction. Display is readable. Built in power supply is nice, not having to deal with a power brick. Basic connectivity works at 2.5 Gbps, as long as you do not flood the switch with cross IC traffic. If you look at the architecture it is really two 12 Ethernet port with 1 SFP port layout bridged together, and each of 4 ports are grouped to one routing IC. So you have 4+4+4 and another 4+4+4 bridged each with 1 SFP and those 'domains' in turn bridged to a control IC. It works. But you will see bottlenecks between 4 port groups and SFPs because the control IC is acting as a router. I just make sure that I connect systems that need to talk directly to each other are in the same 'IC' domain, i.e. 4 port group, for maximum performance. In my case, I got the 26 port variant, so I have 6 4 port groups, and 2 SFPs, so the routing IC is the transfers for each of the 4 port groups. There are a few YouTube videos that show the board design in detail and illustrate the points I made above.

So far so good!!!
I was skeptical for the price and not much info. I have this running and recognizing at 10g between my router and this switch without any issues. The rental house I’m in was wired with cat 5e, but it seems the run in between rooms was short enough that I’m still able to establish a 10g link fwiw. I was ok with it downscaling to 5g which I thought it might do, but seems it’s fine. My desktop computers have 2.5g lan ports and one has a 5g lan port, all reporting in and recognizing 2.5g. My fiber isp is 2g, during my 10 minute test sample period, at the router I tested at about 2.2g and then proceed to test at about 1.8g at the desktop (while other people in the house were streaming, watching tv etc etc so the network was in normal use during test). I have not tested transfers between computers, doesn’t really interest me. Main goal was to get the 2g fiber speed from my wireless router to the main computer room, and distributed to our 3 gaming/streaming desktops, which this has done very well. Quite happy with those results for the price. Will update if it craps out, been up and running for about a week currently.

Works great. Might need to buy the bigger one soon..... :)
Have it hooked up to my NAS, desktop and Mac (when it's docked) . And it seems to be working great. Each device is able to see and utilize the full 2.5Gbe. Set up was painless. Just plugged it all in and could ping each device that was connected.

Bulky, loud, rebooted frequently, so I returned it
Not a good buy for me. The unit was surprisingly bulky, and the photos online don't do its size justice, IMO. The fan is surprisingly loud during operation too, ANZ it felt pretty warm to the touch all the time, even when network traffic was very low. It also behaved poorly with the 10GBASE-T PoE++ injector I was using with my Wi-Fi 7 access point; the physical connection would flap all the time, no matter which RJ-45 port I tried to use, and the switch would regularly reboot itself every half hour or so. I promptly returned it and splurged for a more expensive, but ultimately quieter, cooler, and more reliable QNAP QSW-M2106PR-2S2T managed switch. It's also half the physical width of the Mokerlink, and includes two 10GbE PoE++ ports built-in, so I don't even need the PoE++ injector anymore. You get what you pay for, I suppose.
