Korres Wild Rose Vitamin C Active Brightening Oil for Unisex, 1.01 Fl Oz

I'm in my thirties, have oily skin in the summer and bone dry and flakey skin in the winter - I've had argan oil, sunflower oils, maracuja oils from pretty expensive brands down to the store label brands that are less spendy. I can honestly say most break me out or feel fine going on only to make my skin feel greasy a short time later, no matter how sparingly I put them on. This is my go to and staple of my skin care. I can't honestly say I notice my skin is "brighter' but I will say I notice my skin is softer and seems to balance itself out when I use this, I don't get a super oil slick on my face or feel greasy and I find my t zone isn't as shiny. It absorbs quickly and has a very pleasant floral rose scent that dissipates quickly - it's light, not overpowering - I've noticed I seem to have less problems around my menstrual cycle than when I've used another type or brand of oil, that could be the vitamin c in this product, could be completely anecdotal. The one thing I'm not always on board with is the rose petals - some days I get tiny bits of it in the dropper and it's not a real problem to squirt them back into the bottle or pick off your skin if you overlook it during application, but it is just something to be aware of. It is a kind of nice effect - if you're the kind to appreciate that sort of thing, seeing bits of roses in the product, then that's an added bonus. All in all an oil like this is going to work differently on everyone's skin so it's really a crap shoot if it'd be great for you, but if you're in the market and looking to try something new I can say this is gentle, light and nicely scented so there's definitely the mental of pampering yourself, smelling roses, and using a product with a more interesting presentation than most bottled oils.
