So Many Uses!
These are awesome little leak-free liquid storage holders. I use them for adding essential oils to the simmer pouches I create. They are also great for flavor enhancing—like adding a few drops of syrup or extract to something you're gifting. These are awesome and you get a lot inexpensively.

DO NOT BUY - tubes cracked during centrifugation, critical samples lost
We lost dozens of critical samples due to structural failure of these 1.5-mL polypropylene (natural) microcentrifuge tubes from Ackers Science. We ended up transferring the rest of our samples to another style of tube because we couldn't risk losing more samples. Looking at the tubes now, they are very malleable and clearly very thin-walled; the walls can be completely collapsed with very mild pressure (see attached image - and I encourage you to try doing this with quality tubes to appreciate how incredibly thin a tube has to be to deform like this). These are absolutely not suitable for centrifugation. They might be useable for other things (e.g., simple reagent prep, room-temperature aliquotting/storage), but these are the cheapest tubes you can buy in every possible way. Do not trust your critical samples to these tubes!!!
