Easy to use, stores data in your cell, seems accurate
I have been using this device for just over two months now. It is easy to use and provide all the instructions needed. The display is large and it connects to an app in your phone (not required). I like the fact that now I have all my readings stored in the phone and I can export them. It makes easy to understand your patterns and to talk to your doctor with facts.Initial setup was a little cumbersome for me.

Convenient and Accurate
I bought this for my grandma who needs to monitor her blood pressure. I thought it would be an easier and more convenient solution than writing down her results each measurement to discuss with her doctor. I helped her set up the Bluetooth feature/app on her phone. The directions were simple to follow, and if you read through them and each step there will be no issues in getting it to work, like previous reviews I read spoke about. I found that the app needs to be opened when the measurement is taking place for automatic synchronization to happen. The app even shows graphs overtime and saves all data, so I'm really happy about this. Her doctor found it to be accurate, and a great way to communicate her results with him! I guess you can say I'm the favorite grandaughter now.

really hard to get the cuff correct -- too loose or so tight it is is painful
This cuff makes a straight tube that is tricky to position with only your right hand as you put it on your left arm. Since your arm is wider up at your bicep and tapers toward the elbow, it is generally too tight at the highest point of the upper arm and/or too loose lower down. This either results in inaccurate readings or a pressure so tight and painful that it causes my left hand to cramp and seize up. The meter then responds to this situation with getting even tighter. Eventually I can not take it any longer and pull the cuff off, though this means I just have to start the whole process over again.

Most accurate readings, ”softest” pressure cuff pressurization; worst tracking app!
This is the BP Monitor with the “softest” pressure cuff I’ve ever experienced! It does not over-pressurize the cuff when it starts its cycle of blood pressure monitoring. The accuracy of the reading is exactly the same as I’ve experienced and is getting the best and most accurate, save for the Panasonic blood pressure monitor. The app that you can download on the other hand, is useless. It’s so poorly designed and difficult to use that is simply not worth it. If you are considering getting the Bluetooth version of this monitor, which I am reviewing, it’s really not worth the extra cost. It’s easier to get the non- Bluetooth Verizon, save the extra cost and use another app ( I suggest “Smart BP” for iOS) and manually put the data in. It is lower rated due to the poorly designed tracking app

Good Value
I bought for a gift. They liked it and said it was easy to use.

not great, works but manual is not great, and accurate readings require careful positioning
*UPDATED* after having about a week to use it...VERY DISAPPOINTED!- instructions are *mostly* useless!- readings are all over the place, can take several in a row without moving and get wildly different results; *very sensitive to everything, IF you get the air hose aligned AND the cuff positioned just right AND are very still AND keep your arm/hand extended and raised to about heart level, THEN you can get readings that are fairly consistent and similar to what a professional will read with a manual heart pressure cuff (ie, the kind you pump and read off a meter).- BATTERY STATUS: *per manufacturer, only shows low battery when the batteries are too low to run the air pump, at which time it stops working* SO WHAT'S THE POINT? you will know the batteries are low because it will stop working. No indication of battery level, so better have spare batteries on hand!- can only change date/time/bluetooth on/off when replacing batteries, and instructions are not clear (at first it made me reprogram the settings every time i popped a battery out; later it did not even let me change them then - see below for how to force that);- cuff is clumsy, difficult to position;OVERALL JUST REALLY CONFUSING (and i am a really smart and tech savvy guy).HERE'S A QUICK REF GUIDE:- to SET DATE/TIME (FIRST TIME AFTER INSTALLING BATTERIES); - first you choose 12H/24H (default is 12H) using +/- buttons, then SET; - then YEAR using +/- and SET then MONTH/DAY (these will be 'backward' if you chose 24H clock) using +/- and SET, then time using +/- and SET; - once these are set you are locked into your choices until you remove batteries again! *NOTE: YOU MAY NOT BE PROMPTED TO CHANGE THESE SETTINGS JUST BY REMOVING BATTERIES...SO WITH THE BATTERIES OUT, PRESS THE ON/OFF BUTTON AND THEN WHEN YOU PUT THE LAST BATTERY IN YOU WILL GO THROUGH THE SET UP PROCESS AGAIN. I figured this out randomly, did not find it in the manual!- from there any time you hit the ON/OFF button it will initiate the BP reading. SO YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OTHER SETTINGS (USER/MEMORY/etc?) ALREADY SET, *AND* HAVE THE CUFF IN PLACE (by now your BP is probably elevated from the aggravation of trying to figure this out!);- to CHANGE USER, you TURN IT OFF (!!) then press SET and use +/- to scroll to desired user (1-4); then TURN OFF. the next reading will start when you turn it ON again and will be associated with that user.- to VIEW MEMORY first you SET USER per above (it will default to last setting). then with it OFF, you press M (memory) button repeatedly to cycle through stored values. Starts with "A" (average of all stored for that user) then AM (average of morning measurements) then PM (average of evening measurements), then 01, 02, ... (only however many you have, not yet clear to me how many there can be). - if you hold M down it will eventually rapidly cycle through all memories for that user; too fast to read, not sure what the point of that is? - to CLEAR MEMORY for the user selected, first display the memory (press M from OFF) then press and hold both + AND - for 5+ seconds. this does NOT clear all other memory for other users, you have to select each and clear them separately (i think this is a good thing).- BLUETOOTH: I have nothing to share other than you only get to turn it off/on when you change batteries and reset per above (pressing on/off with batteries out). since having bluetooth ON will drain batteries faster, be sure to set to OFF if you don't use it. - it seems that it will automatically transfer to the app if you have the app loaded, launched, and you are connected. Does not seem to be any control over this at all; - bluetooth does increase battery drain (so i just turned it off).SO BOTTOM LINE IS THERE MUST BE A MUCH BETTER OPTION OUT THERE! THIS ONE IS NOT INTUITIVE, THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE NOT GREAT, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THE READINGS ARE ALL OVER THE PLACE *if you don't position it and your arm exactly right every time*.(it is easy to read the display LOL plenty big and plenty bright)

Easy to use and accurate
The device is very easy to use and read. So far I've had no problem getting it to connect to my phone. The cuff does get very tight sometimes if you don't have it positioned correctly. I'ts been accurate so far, comparing it to readings taken by a professional. I would recommend it, just takes time to work out how to use and position the cuff correctly.

Good product
The first time took us a little time to figure out how to use it as it's our first upper arm blood pressure tester. I am happy to have the memory feature so that i don't need to write down on a paper. It also looks as good quality.

Overrated overpriced item
I bought this machine to replace my Omron device after reading a Forbes' review that rated Beuer BM67 above the Omron 10 series. That was a regrettable decision. To start with, the blood pressure readings on this device are way too off on the high side (170/97 compared to my doctor's office reading of 137/85). Next, the Bluetooth technology is very poor, to say the least. Syncing to a phone can only be done after taking a BP reading, so, if an attempt failed, you have to take your blood pressure again for another chance to link the device to the phone. And believe me, you will do it many times (like ten times) before it works. Worse still, if the batteries were replaced (which I had to do because the indicated showed low battery on the first day immediately l finished setting it up), the process has to be started all over again because the device has no memory of what it was previously connected to. Last but not the least, on inflating, the cuff tightens around the arm so hard that it hurts. To avoid that, the cuff has to be a bit loose around the arm before the measurement begins. Very unusual, and it's unclear how that impacts the reading. I'm about to send it back to vendor

The package came as indicated. Neatly packaged, good feeling in the hand. I have not used all the secrets in the machine. Not an easy plug and play. Tried to use the machine without reading the instructions and it did not go well. Read the quick guide and still was not easy as 1, 2, 3. There seem to be steps missing or the instructions are not clear for me. Once I understood what was happening, worked great. Batteries are another issue. They came packaged in the box, but are almost flat so won’t get much use out of these ones. Overall I would recommend this machine, just be patient and give it time to play with it
