A great 2 person portion dish
Love cooking One pot dishes and this is a great portion size for two serving. Lovely looking blue casserole dish.

Lovely colour, bought as a present a little small wish I'd bought a larger size. However pleased with the quality and standard of service, product arrived on time and well wrapped.

First time failure
When it arrived I thought that it looked great and was just the right size for two people. However, the first time it was used, this casserole cracked across 50% of the base and up one side (40 minutes at 180C in a standard electric oven).In all probability I was extremely unlucky to get the one casserole that had inbuilt stresses from the original kiln firing during manufacture.Unfortunately, as I live in Portugal, the cost of returning the casserole in order to get a “free” replacement is far more than the value of the item. This would mean that although I end up with a casserole it would effectively have cost more than double the original price. So in this instance I shall have to bite the bullet and accept that I have paid out for a non-usable item – one of the perils of living abroad.

While I LOVE both the 1 litre & 2 litre casseroles
DO NOT PUBLISH PLEASE! THIS IS A QUESTION!!! While I LOVE both the 1 litre & 2 litre casseroles, the inside glazing of both has hazed and leeches residue through to the unglazed bottom. I just want to know what to do! I DO LOVE these and I am meticulous about their care - proper seasoning / no dishwasher / proper air drying - and it would seriously break my heart to give them up. HELP!!! They are GREAT 'marmite' - RIVALLING my Le Creusets! - and VERY useful except for this problem which can be extreme. I would appreciate your PROMPT attention and advice!!! THANK YOU!!! Amazing Cookware indeed!!
Having previously been a Le Creuset "addict", my 87 year old Mum was finding it was a bit too heavy to handle in safety. I happened to be browsing through the various options on Amazon and found "AMAZING COOKWARE". Having received and used the first casserole dish 1 litre (pearlescent blue), we then bought another 1 litre in pearlescent RED...and then another 1.5 litre in Pancake Cream...which reminds us of Cornish Clotted Cream!!!It really is a fabulous range of casseroles etc., and I would strongly recommend you have a look at them. They can go on a gas hob too!! Are really easy to clean....and look so deliciously "old fashioned"! And the food tastes great!!
