Good quality
Apron seemed good quality, but it was too thick for what I needed it for.

Sturdy, functional, great looking apron - but backing fabric is buckling, thin leather
I really want to give this excellent apron 5/5, but I can't.The pros are many: It's great looking (it's a red-brown color with crease lines due to shipping), excellent and sturdy constructions (from rivets to stitching, all solid), and the single, large pocket provides a good level of utility - as does the strip for handing a hammer, spatula, or whatever fits your needs. The leather is thin, I guess I expected thicker leather for cowhide. A fabric backing has been applied to the apron - while this thickens the apron overall and likely adds strength, the adhesion of the fabric is poor; it's pulling-off and buckling. It arrived that way, and our simple efforts to flatten it ourselves have failed.4/5 due to issues with backing fabric.

Decent leather apron mid quality with liner
The media could not be loaded. First thing you’ll notice when you open this package is a fairly strong smell that isn’t leather but more like the glue that adheres the apron liner. After airing it out the smell does settle down. I do like the idea of the liner but I’m skeptical of how long it will stay adhered to the leather. In the folding process for shipping the liner bubbled and detached at the creases. Leather is stiff and needs a good break in period but that’s not a detractor in my opinion. I’ll use the the most for grinding metal and stone and this apron is definitely acceptable for my usage needs. Straps are relatively comfortable and easily adjustable. I’m about 6’ 200lbs and it fits me very well. I noticed they advertised it for barbers and butchers and I’d say that it’s more suited for heavier industrial applications like welding, grinding or light smelting work. I’d wear this while pouring lead weights for instance. I think it’s a little too rigid and cumbersome for barbers. Butchers I could agree with. Not a lot of pocket space or places to put tools so it’s more of a protective apron rather than a utility or carpentry oriented accessory. I think it will take some time to get a good read on durability and get past the break in period and I’ll update further as I use it. Check out the pics of the liner I’ve posted. I’d say it’s a mid grade leather apron and about what I expected for the price. Completely suitable for my needs but no frills or craftsmanship that exceeded my expectations. 3 stars for meeting my expectations. The smell and the questionable liner keep it mid range for me
