The media could not be loaded.  So I prefer drinking from an open cup rather than sipping through a straw or a small slot in a lid. But, I also don't really like the taste of the stainless steel that sometimes you get when doing so with most vaccumed mugs. Anyway, this 6 Pint solves all that. It's awesome. The silicone ring is a game changer. What a difference! No steel taste and it's great to have something soft along the rim. It makes for a much better experience. There's also a difference in quality. This thing is high end. The packaging says the steel used is a thicker gauge and I believe it. And speaking of packaging...the box it comes in is way cool and also very high end. It would make a heckuva first impression if you planned to give this as a gift. Oh! And it works too. Keeps cold drinks cold and hot drinks hot for quite some time despite not using a lid. I just love it. Fits the cup holders in my car nicely. I mostly drink out of the 6pint itself, but I did try slipping a pint glass in it and a Solo red cup and each works as advertised. Very cool. Will take this along to ballgames and concerts for sure. Good product. Unique. Well made. I have no problem recommending it. Will be ordering more for sure.

I’m a sucker for packaging and loved the presentation. The weight of the tumbler was really nice too.

I saw some folks using this at an outdoor with big 24 oz. beers and got one to use at the stadium during football season. It worked great. Well made, too.
