High Quality
This is a high quality product. I do want to warn people that because it has no additives, it clumps and gets gooey very easily. This is not going to be like the orange flavored bleached white powders you buy over the counter that blend easily with water and swallow down as a clear liquid. Those work that way because of glucose spiking additives and anti clumping agents. This is all natural powder. You want to mix it in with a lot of water and stir very, very fast if you want it to be smooth. If there isnt enough water, it will turn into a thick paste in about 15 seconds. If you used enough water, it will be a thick liquid equivalent to a runny milkshake. If you want to help prevent clumps, you can mix it with Erythritol or Allulose powder, which will keep it from clumping when you add it to the water and will also add sweetness with no calories. Or mix it with your favorite powdered drink mix before adding water.

If psyllium doesn't work for you give this one a try
Like everyone else I used to get the NOW brand and I felt like it never really worked either the whole or powder it was either hit or miss on its effectiveness no matter how much I took. This stuff on the other hand is completely different the taste is more mild, it mixes smoother and works consistently (I use it to prep for anal play). This one is actually a powder like flour rather then coarsely ground husks which I personally like. On top of all that good stuff its also cheaper then NOW's per oz and comes in a bigger bag. love this stuff hope the never change it!

it is an acquired taste
The taste is not good, but you will get it down The trick is to use a fast and powerful stream of water to dissolve it or it will clump inside your cup. One teaspoon into a dry!!! cup and use a sprayer to add water quickly. Use a whole cup of water or the psyllium will become a thick gel which you will not be able to drink

Terribleunbreakable product
How this product got so many positive reviews I will never know. My usual product was out of stock so based on the reviews, I thought I'd give this a try. I have attached photos of attempting to mix this. The product is absolutely terrible not mixable not drinkable. Don't waste your money. Unfortunately this will be going in the trash and I will wait till my usual product is back in stock which is organic third-party tested. I did come attack seller on if there's a special way to mix this product without getting this. No reply.

It doesn’t mix well with water
I bought it to drink with water but it won’t mix well and makes little clamps. It says in the description that is great for baking but I didn’t realize will not mix well with water and I was very disappointed. It mix well with shakes or if you use liquids and blend it. Unfortunately It didn’t work for the purpose I bough it and I have to buy a different brand. It works well in my body like the other brands did.

Great value (nutritionally AND financially)
Great value, very finely milled powder I've been very happy with this psyllium husk powder. One thing I think is worth mentioning is that this is a very fine powder. It's much finer than a ground flaxseed consistency, which makes it blend really well. I use one scoop every day in my morning smoothie, and it goes through the blender without any issues. I can't really comment on how it tastes mixed with plain water because I've only used it in smoothies, but I don't notice any taste at all in mine. The value has also impressed me. I bought the 48 oz bag at the end of December, and it's just now running out in mid July. For a daily scoop, that's over six months from a single bag, which makes it an excellent value for the price. I'll definitely be purchasing it again.

Great Price!
The price on the psyllium husk is so much better than anywhere that I found. It works like a charm!

doesn't mix easily
As far as the taste and health benefits are concerned, it's tasteless and I'm sure it's like all other psyllium powders. However I was disappointed to find it does not mix easily into liquids, I basically have to use an immersion blender to get it to blend in and not be in clumps. This means I can't use it for putting in my coffee, which is how I'd planned to use it. ( I drink my coffee slowly, and with psyllium you have to drink it quickly before it starts to gel up.) Maybe it can be used in baking, or in a type of liquid you can drink quickly. I also thought it was weird that the serving size is listed as "one scoop" (rather than 1 tsp., 1 Tbs, or some other recognizable measure. There is NO "scoop" included in the bag. How am I supposed to know how much "a scoop" is? Finally, while it may not be the fault of the product, it did give me bad cramps and gas the first few days I tried it. I know it says to start slowly and build up to avoid this, but I spread out my intake over a day--with a serving size split into three portions taken at three different meals) and I'm used to a high fiber diet and was reducing my normal fiber intake at the same time, so I didn't think I'd have that much of a problem. I had to stop and pause for a few days, as the GI upset was too annoying. I'll resume again later and see if starting with just tiny, incremental doses work better. Overall I'm not sure what to think of this product--I think psyllium husk powder is a great health supplement but have been disappointed with my first experience with this particular brand or form of it.
