Dark/Black nails on small dog! Can you see the quicks with the LED lights on the grinder???

My dogs have black nails for the most part too. To see the quicks, I look underneath the nail and yes, the light on there was bright enough that I could see them easily.

How about this pet nail grinder noise?

It is not silent, but super super quiet compared to my other two dog nail Trimmers. It is very lightweight and has almost no vibration, our 5 year old golden retriever is very timid and when buying this product, we weren't sure if she would take the noise of the dog nail grinder, but she didn't get anxious or try to run away and sat happily on my lap while I trimmed her nails. So we decided to try it on our 6 month old kitten and the results were also satisfactory, smoothing out the nails nicely.
