The 18L can actually hold a bare maximum of 20L, however... and -Update-

The media could not be loaded.  When the water runs out, there will be some water left over and will need to tip it at one side to get the rest out, technically this is 18L off the tap if you fill it upto 20L cap. I weighed it 19.9KG that's practically 20L if I put a few more drops in it would cap at 20KG which is 20L in weight. Was easy for me as a body builder, I'm used to lifting weights, I'm still contemplating where to put it exactly, but it's a nice idea to fit it in a large fridge, currently it's in my room where I normally stack 2,2L in a bottle to use, which takes me 2-3 days to use, so in total this 18L could last me 1 month or nearly. The silicone cap plugs into the tap, the what feels like plastic cover goes over the tap to bridge it and can be bent a little, but is very low quality, and can break easily. The top lid has a silicone area for straw to fit through, I figured I would put a straw in it just a little in, to give the airflow when I filled it halfway with boiling water somewhere betweeen 95-100oC to clean it, sterilise it for 5-10 minutes then rinse out, should be ready for use really, I don't think any germ can really withstand that near 100oC temps for even 5 minutes. After filling up which took me somewhere between 6-10 minutes I lost count sorry, before I screwed it tight I noticed whilst it was filling up it splashes some bits, because it's so big I had to use a chair near the filtered tap. After screwing the lid back on and putting the stopper on the straw hole, It didn't leak anywhere, seems to be well made for leakproof, handle it with care and it shouldn't leak, mine didn't.The tap when opening for the start came out really fast, but after maybe 10-20 seconds it stopped, this was probably due to the airpockets being created through the water, it kinda goes fast for a while, then slows down and stops, and goes fast again, that's the only real issue it has I'd say.I don't regret buying it, I think 30 quid for 18L-20L was worth it, good price, but lacks any accessories, such as it could of had a long silicone straw to go through the top, that hits the bottom inside, allowing you to drain it completely without moving.Or incase someone is using this themselves as a water reservoir to stay hydrated when working, or something you know, not able to leave the chair kind of thing. I also think the bottom of the product should of been flat, so it's easier to store flat, it has 2 leg type grooves that stick out, but if it was flat, it would be able to sit better for me as I have it on top of a round object. The tap also stayed above ground even when this is on a table, but doesn't have enough height to put in a cup, you would need to hang the end off an edge to get it to fill anything up.All in all I thought it was good, and I found it easy to carry thanks to the handle. I actually might buy another one if it's the same quality as this, and the same price or less.P.SI was able to get my whole arm inside the product, so it's easy to clean with detergent and hot water, but that could take a long time to rinse, I just used boiling hot water to clean it, it came in a bag sealed up and then a box. Also want to note today the silicone cap that goes on the tap exit doesn't seem to want to stay on overnight, and slides out eventually. Oh and it can take -20oC to 100oC temperatures, which is great when you want to use ice for cold, or boiling hot water for tea and coffee.Update-I just found out if you unplug the hole at the top it causes the air pocket inside to push the water out faster at the bottom, just unplug it, it's still sealed up but not air tight. Nice trick, but I still don't like how when there's 2L left over give or take, you have to tip the thing forward to spill out the rest, still this is true 18L until you get to that 2L point left over. 20L total 18L officially without tilting.

Useful but bad tap

Turnable tap part doesn't allowed water to come out very fast, great apart from that.

Good quality, very useful

We use this camping and find it very useful. It seems good quality. The filler cap is large. This is useful not only when filling it (as I find that some campsite taps spray water ridiculously widely) but also when drying it out after use - the wide cap speeds up drying, preventing the dreaded mould. The one disadvantage is that, unlike soft, collapsible versions, it takes up a lot more space in your car and at home, when storing it.The tap works well.It seems much better quality than soft, collapsible water containers, and I find it more comfortable to carry when full. The capacity is a happy compromise bewteen volume and weight - it holds a decent volume of water without being too heavy.

Excellent portable size

This is just the job for canon sites where the water tap is a little bit further away. It’s not too large, very easy to carry and fill up and the bottom tap works great if it’s sat on a little table etc. Very good
