I finally decided to use this ear irrigator. I had been holding off using it because it looks EXACTLY like my dental water flosser. And it functions the same way with the same buttons. I thought it would just blast into my ears and I was afraid it might hurt. Start with Pulse as this setting is the gentlest. Once I got the hang of it I found that it works very well. I don't like the feeling of water in my ears so I was very apprehensive about this ear cleaner. Now I really like it.

When I first got this I did a full tank of warm water and got nothing out. I was very disappointed and was putting it back in the box prepared to to give a poor rating.But thankfully I decided to try another tank of water. That time I got a good bit of wax out. It actually made sense. The first tank the wax was all hard and so not ready to come out. But the warm water softened it up after a few minutes.My left ear did get a little sore after multiple times on the highest pressure. But nothing horrible. So I would suggest doing a tank or two at the lowest setting or the pulse setting because both are very gentle. Then wait a few minutes to allow the wax to soften and then do a tank with the highest setting. That should get a lot of the wax out.My only complaints are with the buttons and how the water flow pipe attaches. The buttons are close and the same. When you can't see and are going by feel it's easy to push the wrong button. I wish they had made the buttons different shapes or something to quickly tell them apart by feel. The water flow pipe you push in the top and then twist to lock in. But when you're using the device it tends to easily turn out of locking position. It never came off or leaked water but it was irritating having to keep turning it back into place.Other then those two issues this works really well. And I really like that the DIY mode lets you go to a higher pressure then the pressure set for the high mode.Oh, and be careful with the manual squeeze bulb that comes with this. If you apply a little too much pressure with that, the top will pop off and you'll get the side of your face and head soaked and water everywhere, lol. I guess it was nice of them to include one. But I found it useless and not really needed since the device works so well itself.

I'm giving 3 stars cause although it turns on, it didn't really wash the ear wax out of my ear well. It makes me thing it wouldn't be able to wash a spider out of my ear if I was unfortunate enough to experience such a tragedy

This device is awesome because it is waterproof, so you can do your ear cleaning in the shower and not worry about the mess. You can also use hot water from the shower to fill the tank - and avoid the shock of using water that is the wrong temperature in the device. I don't have to use this that often, maybe only twice a year.

This works really well and I like the softness of the tips. The syringe dryer thing is on the cheap side but not something ill use anyway. I do like that it came with cotton swabs.Has different settings and easy to fill and empty. I do wish it came with an ear cup.

The water intensity is a nice; not too strong but not to weak. It has 4 water pressure modes for your comfortability. The disappointing part is that it didn't come with a cup to catch the dirty water and for the price it most definitely should have. I would pass on this one and get another one where you get more bang for your buck.

I ordered this for my husband, who has a slight problem with one ear. He has used this twice, and has been verry happy with the product. I watched it once, and as long as you use the guard, it should not drip onto you at all. You add water, and allow the ear cleaner to do its job. So far, it seems to work well. The price is more than fair for the product, and the pieces are very easy to clean. It also fits right back into the box for keeping. You could travel with this, or just store it away. It works quickly and takes care of the problem, which is what it is supposed to do. I am glad that I got this for him and would recommed it to others.

I've had an instance where I had to go to the ER to have them clean my ears and it's basically the same thing, but theirs was electric, this works pretty great as well and I love that it's not that loud, it's comfortable and gentle, my only complaint is that I wish the water storage is bigger.
