Appears to work. The batteries go in backwards to what is normal. No directions are in the box. The laser bullet fits perfectly in the barrel. Never ever ever point a laser at your eye or someone else's. The red laser beam only shows when you pull the trigger. Do not expect the laser beam to appear the minute you put the batteries in. That is how a lot of lasers work in pistols and rifles. The strikeman laser has a soft rubber cushion. When you're firing pin hits it There's a sudden flash of laser beam. This is very cool though. Better spelled kool. I tested the batteries and they range between 1.3 to 1.4 v DC. Three in the laser means 4.5v DC. But more. What a relief since some lasers I ordered do NOT fit in the barrel!!!! Yea! Be careful.

Saved a ton of money!!! After picking up the new Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 2.0, I was eager to head to the range and break it in. However, I quickly realized that .380 ACP ammo is significantly more expensive than 9mm. To save on costs, I looked for a training alternative and discovered this laser cartridge. The build quality is impressive; it has a premium, hefty weight that matches a live .380 ACP round. The red laser is exceptionally bright, and when paired with my phone, it transformed my living room into a simulated firing range. It’s a fantastic way to practice dry firing and fundamental drills without burning through expensive ammunition. My only criticism is that you have to manually rack the slide after every shot. Despite that minor inconvenience, the ability to practice at home is invaluable. I give this product a 9/10 and plan to use it until I’m ready for more live-fire sessions.

Does a pretty good job overall accuracy is good limitation on what training apps you can use with it other than the strikeman system. But this is a lot cheaper than going to the range and will help you get used to your trigger pull

Works great for my 9 M&M as I like to call it.

Ordered for 9mm handguns. Does not fit my revolvers. Cannot close barrel, but fit semiautomatics perfectly. Must release clip just a bit to fire and also need to rack after each shot. The .38 Special does fit my S&W Pro revolver. I will order more so I don't have to spin the barrel after each shot. Great product, but need to clarify types better. Also bought extra targets. A lot of indoor fun!

Great training tool. You don’t actually need the fancy target system, but they are nice. Put a small sticker on the wall and begin to practice. Also, got my new Red Dot zeroed in within one MOA before I even went to range. At first I was pushing the laser cartridge in too far and laser didn’t fire every time. Corrected that and no problem. Get one for each of your hand guns. You will save the cost in ammunition in one training session. When you get to the range you will likely see improvement.

This is a lot more accurate than the easy shoot dry fire laser.
