All together I'm happy with the purchase. I was hesitant with the price but then I considered a plastic fan with this power is around $60-80 at local stores. Also there isn't any other fan in this shade of pink on the market, that I could find anyway. The other one I saw is ugly. It's not 1/4 inch steel solid but it's also not cheap flimsy tin. It's metal. The blade is solid, with four blades it puts off a lot more air while still being quiet. After 10 minutes on setting 2 the motor wasn't warm like most fans get. You can feel the air draft where it draws air through the casing to cool the motor. Make me feel confident in the longevity of the motor as long as I keep up on regular dust cleaning. The stand has a good solid weight that attaches under it. The bottom lip of the base has plastic so I doubt it will scratch up hard wood floors. I assembled it all with just a Phillip's screwdriver and my hands. A pair of pliers for the little nut on the fan cover would help if you don't have good finger strength. Other than that I don't understand why others have complained about the instructions. The included instructions are basic diagram. If you played with Legos or Lincoln Logs as a child you should be able to figure it out by looking at the pieces. I only looked at the diagram to realize the orientation of the mount to the pole. The knob on the fan goes on the same side as the knob on the pole. The color is the lighter blush pink everyone likes. Old school barbie pink in my mind. The pictures make it look a little darker. I included a picture with flash that shows it a little better. If you love pink and a moderately loud fan to sleep with you'll love this one. I have a 15x15 room and it creates a nice draft around the room, not just in front of the fan. Hopefully this helps someone break the "should I or shouldn't I" decision that I faced while debating the purchase.There were two minor flaws in the paint that probably came from the pieces rubbing during shipping. In my case it was small enough I put it towards the back so it goes unnoticed. Not worth the hassle for a replacement.

Was the perfect fan. It had great noise, great appearance, great air production, great height for a tall poster bed!! I am not exaggerating when I state this fan is AWESOME!!Shortly into the 7 month of ownership the fan would not work. There was no indication of a problem for failure. We simply turned it off in the morning and it would not start for bedtime.I have reached out to simple deluxe in hopes they will honor the one year warranty even though we purchased thru Amazon. I will update as to the outcome!! I can’t sleep without it:(

There are no logos on this product and it is a classic design so it looks good and works great. We purchased 2 of these. Neither came with complete instructions and the parts assembled with difficulty (my husband is an engineer so he was able to manage it fine but i struggled with it first and thought I’d even have to return it!). One of the fans required some E6000 glue and a LOT of cranking to get the fan head to sit properly. The other one was difficult to get the fan blade sitting properly without falling off. Once assembled all was fine. If not for the difficult assembly/ missing instructions, I would rate this 5 stars. It looks good and functions great after 6 months of near constant use but definitely not for someone without skills to figure it out.

Nice and sturdy metal, moves a lot of air. Not quite but that’s what I wanted. Took over a week to stop stinking up my room running 24/7. Then started stinking again. Requested a replacement and it’s perfect! So happy I got the 2nd one.

The media could not be loaded. This was the last pink fan of the lot, and it was sold as new but was obviously a damaged return. (Second Life Sticker) Pretty sure I'm posting pics of the same fan someone else returned and posted the same defects I am. It's dented on the stand, it's got a scuff mark in the paint of the base and there were dried finger prints all over it. OH, and the weighted base is total mess but serves its purpose.I did get it put together and it's a good powerful fan. I will use it! The oscillation is only around 45⁰.It REALLY should have been sold Used at a discounted price.As per the other reviews, it is a pain to put together.I think I deserve a partial refund and will ask for it.

This fan far exceeded my expectations, so I bought a second one. Sadly the second one came broken and I had to return, it was very disappointing, I'm waiting now for the replacement, should be here in a couple of days. Let's hope it's as good as the first.
