Traxdata DVD Double Layer Plus R DL 8x White Inkjet Printable (50 Pack)

I have used them many times and have never found them to be below standard

Traxdata discs are made by Ritek, who make decent-quality DVDs. This pack specifically contains the media code RITEK-S04-66. Dual layer discs tend to fail far more than single layer discs, but Ritek appears to be one of the manufacturers that get them right aside from Verbatim and Philips. Great for the price. I burn at 2.4x and 4x speeds and they've been good so far. Tested with XGD3 Xbox 360 ISOs using a Lite-On iHAS624B, and they worked fine.

I've been a Videographer for years and first started filming in 1960 so I've watched the progress of various editing and producing methods over time to my advantage. When the disc system finally emerged as the superior product to tape filming and editing it was a joy to handle, especially as editing also changed to much better systems. Now, there is always the difference between products and "Traxdata is one of them. If one can put up with the sometimes appearance of a number of coasters then, due to cost of the product being so cheap, it is worth it!

I have used this manufacture's DVD for many many years and have found them to be very reliable, they are always my first choice. I never burn any DVD at the max speed, I burn at 6X, and they always work fine, I use the £12.00 type of burner with the latest update of firmware and no problems.

Well, I know that DVD burning does not appear to be an exact science, but these discs do not burn at 8x.... at least not in my system.. which is not slow by any means. I had 3 failed attempts before getting a successful burn, finally dropping the burn speed to... wait for it.... 2.5X.... my slowest option. The printed surface is acceptable. I have some ordinary non-printable Traxdata discs which burn perfectly at maximum speed.
