Great bag for serious hiking and good value
Can take this on a trip for several weeks and you'll have a good and study bag to hike with. It's a good value as well. The pockets and straps are helpful to maintain your goodies inside.

Very good light edc bag
Very good edc daypack that hit the sweet spot for volume and can be used as a minimalist overnight pack.As it is Packable there is no frame/support. I solved it by using my cell foam foldable seat pad or my 2 litres water bladder for more comfort.Very well built, strong material and room enough for comfortable day hike. This bag is used alternatively with my Osprey Daylite Plus that I take for commuting in Montreal.Only grip that explains the 4 stars is the price…..way too expensive……but still I love it.

Mi primera Mystery Ranch… WOW!!

Excactly what I wanted!
I was looking to replace an old packable backpack from EMS I've been using every day for at least ten years. I tried a few backpacks from Patagonia and searched for others on line, but could not find anything close to the old pack. This In and Out 22L pack is made will strong but light nylon, not polyester, fabric. It has a technical sternum strap, bottle holder on the outside with a nylon tensioner to ensure items stay put. It also has extra loops and tie downs built into the bag. It has two front pockets, a large, drawstring main compartment and an internal extra pocket for valuable items or a water bladder. Everything feels quality, but most importantly, it feels like quality! $99 sounds like a high price for a pack this size, but I can tell you, the $150 Patagonia I tried had weird geometry, very hard to access the main compartment and it felt so cheap. Another Patagonia bag I tried also had just the oddest dimensions. It was like a little kids back pack, just super sized. This pack was made from recycled polyester, which is great, but it was super heavy with nothing in it. Lastly, I really like that the In and Out has a protective, adjustable top flap to keep things dry inside. Too many of the bags I checked out had no protection for the top of the pack. This is a light weight, durable technical backpack that can be used for daily use or for real mountain climbing. Oh, one more thing. I am 197 lbs and 5'11". This backpack can be adjusted to fit someone my size or bigger, and also can be cinched up to fit someone much smaller. Truly versatile!

100$ for a minimal day pack??
Yes, this is worth the high price. Superior quality, made with with tough materials and well thought out functional features. Once adjusted very comfortable. I’ll stow this empty (very minimal space) in my main suitcase, then use on day trips around Germany and Switzerland next year. You will not be disappointed - I advise you get one before they’re discontinued.
