Worked great for me.
Perfect for what I needed. Like others mentioned, I had to cut out the middle so I could put it over the outlets because I already had them in. Overall, they are great.

Worth every penny.
This simple device completely solves the pain that is marking the location of outlet holes in drywall. Just like the description says, you can even use it with outlets already installed. Just pop that middle part out and it fits on the box with the outlet installed, no problem. This thing has made my job so much easier. I should note that it is currently cheaper to buy these individually. I only bought the two pack because it said it would arrive sooner and I needed it quickly.

Great step saver!
So glad I found these when my son was sheetrocking his house. Sure cuts out the measuring or use of the "lipstick" method. It is a tiny bit of a struggle to get these seated evenly in the plastic electric housing boxes; however, once in they work perfect. There are six prongs that pierce the back of the sheetrock giving you perfect cutout area (provided you have your sheetrock hung correctly before the piercing process). This fits the single box but not the double. We looked at the magnet system, it just couldn't arrive in time for our sheetrock hanging "party"! I would definately recommend!

Does not work for all outlet boxes.
Handymark's own website doesn't tell you that these do not work for all outlet boxes. I called them up and they confirmed this. The instructions that came with the Handymark's even said they are Versatile. I just wasted $10 in shipping costs to get this item shipped out 2nd day because these don't work for any of my new outlet boxes I just put in. I will be returning this junk. Thanks HandyMark for not being more truthful in your item descriptions.

Greatest invention since "sliced bread"
This invention is the greatest thing since "sliced bread". I own and use 4 of them; before I discovered/ordered them, I used cheap red nail polish to mark the outline of electrical boxes. These "markers" fit the cheaper plastic boxes with precision; I haven't tried them on metal boxes so I cannot comment. As noted in other reviews, they fit the premium fiberglass outlet box but don't "adhere", but I concocted a simple solution....spray the premium outlet boxes using 3M Corner Bead (drywall tape) adhesive spray....I'm sure cheaper adhesive spray will work. I also cut out and remove the middle plastic "spring" out of the HandyMark(ers)....I don't have an issue with the marker sticking to the back of the sheetrock....the six pinholes mark the box outline and my Makita multi-tool cuts perfect rectangles every time with ease. I cut the rectangle slightly larger than the pinhole perimeter to allow for adjustment of the drywall sheet on the wall....the result comes out perfect every time, often with several boxes per 4x8 sheet (switch and outlets)....just place the bottom of the sheet against the bottom of the wall and gently angle the sheet rock up and against the HandyMark bulge....I have yet to bend any pins....they seem robust to me. I have been finishing basements for over 30 years andwish these had been invented long ago....it greatly simplifies the job of cutting outlets out of sheet rock. UPDATE: the HandyMark marker fits perfectly into Lowes premium (fiberglass) outlet boxes....and Lowes' premium box costs less than HD's fiberglass box.

Easy as pie
Works great and saves a lot of time in cutting for outlets. I don't remember getting any instructions, but for a single gang box, it is self explanatory. However, when doing a double gang box, I figured that it was a 2 step process in that you have to do both sides, one at a time. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Awesome Idea. Not made for metal back boxes though.
So, I love the concept of these things, and they really do make marking off boxes for a novice drywaller like me easy. Here's the problem however. They are designed only for plastic back-boxes. They don't fit on any metal boxes with mud rings. (Which is standard practice in most commercial work). These are made for single gang plastic backboxes ONLY. So... Since I had metal boxes with mud rings, I basically used electrical tape to tape these to the back box and then used them as designed to mark off the back of the drywall.. Then I untaped them. Accommodation of metal boxes would be really easy.. It just looks like they didn't think of it when they made this tool. Oh well. For the price it worked. Just a stupid design. Glad I had them though, as it seems that no matter how carefully I measure I always cut the hole for the box in the wrong place. This makes it dead on professional.
