The fabric is a bit rough in texture, and came as cut sections which are fraying on the ends. I will have to hem it before washing to keep the fraying from making it unusable. Pay attention to advertised width, because this is really sized as lungi, not dhoti, which I learned the hard way. I am keeping it only because I like the colors and can also make use of a lungi. Hopefully it will soften up and not shrink too much with washing.
