GREAT FOR OLDER CHILDREN
I was thrilled when WALL-E was on my doorstep yesterday evening. This has to be one of the cutest little robots I have ever seen. WALL-E is very easy to opperate ( it was harder to get out of the box then it was to get him started ). The packaging it really cute, the robot is "very" fast ( good idea to make sure you know where he is going to go and move things out of the way first before giving the command )and a lot of fun to see him running off across the floor doing tricks, the remote is really nice and seems sturdy for drops, and the robot itself is so cute that you feel he is sitting still with no commands looking at you. The detail of the toy is really wonderful. They went way out of their way to make WALL-E look so alive with the rust spots, dirt marks, and moveable fingers. I would not even think of this for a child under the age of 6. It is a very sensitive toy and even the slightest drop I fear might be the end of one of his eye's or arm's. Outdoor play would also be a real no no as well but maybe on a smooth driveway or very wide sidewalk ( I would think twice about the sidewalk since the robot goes so fast ). If you are a toy collector then this would be a really great addition to a collection. WALL-E is heavy and a really cute robot but he does have a real problem trying to go on carpet. If you put a heavy neckless on him, he does stay upright a lot better. All in all..The U-Command WALL-E is a real joy to play with but I would get it for an older child or even an adult. It is really a cute little robot and makes you laugh and love him just like you did in the movie.

I Love This Toy
Well I am a 63 year old father of two grown boys, that are both men in there late 30's now. I am probably the biggest animation fan that you will ever find, and I saw this last year and wanted to buy one, but I kept putting it off. I happened to do a search, and I discovered that this item had increased in value quite a bit. I saw it anywhere from the price I paid, which was $135.99, all the way to several sellers asking $999.00. I was shocked. I bought this one for the price I mentioned earlier, and I simply love it. He talks, lights up, dances, plays music, turns in reverse, and can be operated with the remote control or programed to do a multitude of movements. He is very cool, and I had absolutely no problem with him tipping over like some others have suggested. I simply love him, and I have him proudly displayed in my living room, with all my other collectables, which drives my wife crazy. You should get one of these today, before they are all gone, or the only ones you will find, are the ones selling for $999.00.

Great remote control product
I've purchased quite a few remote control toys for my 5yr old son. Most of these products were mediocre in most regards. We're not huge fans of Disney, however, my son did see the film Wall-E on dvd. He loved it so much that I decided to purchase the toy as I like the idea of remote control toys and hoped this would be a positive experience. By far, this is the most superior remote control product I've ever purchased. There is a level of sophistication and simplicity in the design. With this in mind, operating the toy is quite easy - my son was able to figure out the functions on the robot and the remote with minimal assistance and supervision. As the instructions indicate, make sure your child does not pick up the toy by any of the movable parts which includes Wall-e's head and arms. Educationally this game is great for developing motor skills and coordination. Definitely a well-manufactured, well designed, impressive product.

DOA - Dead On Arrival
Purchased for my son as gift from Santa. Item was DOA on X Mas AM... was to be the best gift from Santa. Did not work with brand new batteries. Now they want me to return for $10.00; unable to go to Toys R Us on X Mas day to replace (had to wait till the 27th). Oh well... he had other gifts and was fine but really wanted this to work.

WALL-E'S PRETTY COOL!!!
Bought this a couple yrs ago for my granddaughter. Got it 3 months b4 Xmas so I would be sure they weren't sold out. When I received it I never took it out of the factory box, I just gave it a quick glance after taking it out of the packing box. Then put into the large box where I was storing all the toys b4 Xmas. Then comes Xmas Eve when I was setting everything out for my Granddaughter the next day & I take Wall-E out of the box & was almost in tears, I thought OMG, this thing's had something spilled all over it, it's ruined. I must say right here...I hadn't seen the movie yet, so I had no idea Wall-e was supposed to be dirty & grungy from living in a landfill...so I spent the next hour or more...w/a toothbrush, scrubbing him w/every household cleaner I possessed, trying to get the brownish scum off of him. LOL So word to the wise...if u haven't seen the Wall-e movie, the toy is supposed to look dirty. Wish I had been informed of this. I never even knew until I saw the movie myself, then the lightbulb went off & I felt like an idiot!!! As to the actual toy, this thing's pretty neat. The voice is cute & just like it is in the movie. He moves in all directions, spins & does figure 8's ( it can be frustrating if on uneven surfaces or thick carpet b/c it has a tendency to tip over then). On hardwood floors it would be great. His eyes light up & his head movement looks just like it did in the movie. His arms move as well, & there are many of the quirky little sound effects u heard in the movie. This is a must have for any Wall-E or robot fan!!
