Ledger Nano S Original Cryptocurrency Hardware Wallet from at Bitcoin Ethereum Protects The Digital Coin, Silver Black, s

Had my Nano S a while now and hadn't plugged it in for a few months. When I did I found there is now a mandatory update of software required required to access it as the Chrome extensions I'd been using with no problem are no longer supported, you now have to use the Ledger Live app. On trying to use this however , I have had nothing but problems and cannot currently access my Crypto on the wallet. The App would not access the wallet as it needed a Firmware update but on trying to do this it seems to have bricked it. I have followed the instruction exactly as their website advised but it is stuck at the "Bootloader" stage. I have tried contacting their "support" who have simply emailed me back the instructions cut-and-paste from their website which i had made clear i'd already done. Absolutely infuriating waste of time and right now don't even know if I'll be able to get my crypto off the damn thing, Will absolutely never, ever buy something from this awful company again!
