Usually when you come across a cookie or brownie made for a special niche diet crowd, you encounter one of a number of flavor or consistency sacrifices made in the name of satisfying what that diet can or can't partake in. With Vegan baked items, it's not uncommon to encounter chickpea-based batter, and with that comes a very distinct flavor that can make or break a cookie. Luckily, that's not the route THIS vegan cookie takes, instead opting for potato flour, cocoa butter, and tapioca starch in place of eggs or dairy-based chocolate chips. These are much better substitutions, and they don't require people to adjust their palettes from the non-vegan versions nearly as much. What thing that isn't helped, however, is the consistency. These cookies, labeled as "soft-baked" are incredibly crumbly. So crumbly, in fact, that fishing them out of their individual wrappers can be a bit obnoxious as they just keep falling apart. As someone who likes dipping their cookies in milk (dairy or vegan varieties) this crumbly nature of this cookie made that basically an impossibility. For every good successful dip, we had about 2-3 occasions where the cookie just broke off or disintegrated in the milk. If you're a milk and cookie fan, you're going to need to go the "take a bite, take a sip" route if you really don't want to lose your cookie in your drink. On the plus side, the cookies do taste quite good. They've done a great job of making a very traditional-tasting chocolate chip cookie while also sticking to the Vegan requirements. ***Overall Value*** Unfortunately, like the cookie in milk, this is where it all falls apart. $24 for 12 cookies is very high even by vegan standards. Even with these being larger than normal in terms of size, that's a lot for 12 cookies. There are a lot of Vegan cookie alternatives these days so this is a bit of a hard sell.

As a person who is dairy-free, I refuse to accept that I have to give up chocolate chip cookies thus I went on a hunt to find chocolate chip cookies that are dairy-free. I have tried numerous cookie brands - these cookies from Nani Sweets are superior. For me, currently, they are a treat as I cannot buy them as often due to current financial restraints but goodness when these arrive I am excited! :)

First impression, these came nicely packaged with a cute thank you card and their QR code. Each cookie is individually wrapped which is great to help keep them fresh and you can easily take them on the go or throw them in your lunch box etc! I would like to start off by saying, no one in our household is vegan, gluten free, kosher nor do any of us have a soy, egg, peanut or tree nut allergy. So these are not what we normally would order. Upon opening each cookie, they were all already broken. They crumble very easily. Not a big deal to us, but just something to consider if that would bug you. The chocolate chips in these cookies taste really good. The cookie itself is a little bland, but that’s to be expected given everything they are free of. Our household personally would not order these again, but these are a great option for those who are vegan, gluten free, kosher and/or have a soy, egg, peanut or tree nut allergy

So the taste is pretty good. They come individually packaged. Took one to work in my backpack and it was ALL CRUMBS. There does not appear to be any kind of binder used. It was a bag of powder. How do you eat that? With a spoon?
