One Man's Love Affair With LTFC
I was at school with Alan in Stopsley & had lost touch with him since leaving. At a recent Luton game, I heard that he had passed away in March. I was also informed that he had written this book, detailing his life & support for LTFC. I am staggered at the sheer number of games he attended over more than five decades. It takes something special to drive hundreds of miles to support your team on a wet Tuesday night, after finishing work! Not only that, but Alan had meticulously recorded every game in his journal. Scorers, new signings, managers, crowd numbers, weather & other topical events in his life. His recall was quite incredible. I would say that this book is a must for any Luton fan & an interesting read for any lover of the beautiful game. His loyalty & support is something to behold. On a personal note, I was delighted to see that Alan had lived such an accomplished & full life. He was a truly larger than life character & will be missed on the terraces & by all who knew him.

Mr. Luton Town.
Alan has great knowledge about Luton Town football club, and another team over the border in Scotland. It is an honour and a pleasure to be considered a friend, his "Adair travel" weekends to Blackpool are legendary !he skilfully interweaves his love of football with his love and passion for life, and appraises his personal highs and lows in relationships with complete honesty !He epitomises everything that there is to love about this wonderful family club !A fabulous biography...I now look forward to the possibility of an "Adair" coach trip up to Wembley, for a Premier League play-off final in May !

The Up’s and downs of being a Hatters supporter
A great trip down memory lane for me. The passion that Alan has for our beloved Luton Town radiates through the whole book. A must read for any Hatters fans young or old (like me). Well done Alan without this book the memories would just fade away.
