Works for ice cube makers too!
I have low water pressure at my house and my ice cube maker just wont make any ice. I have adjusted the water valve timer all the way to max and it still is not enough. I connected this device and it works BETTER THAN EXPECTED! I simply purchased a pack of 1/4" OD x 1/2" Female NPT compression fittings to connect the 1/4" water lines to the device. NOTE: My water pressure is so low that I do have to use the 'Self-Starting' selection on the device (as it says in the instructions). End result, I have ice cubes again! P.S. MAKE SURE YOU INSTALL IT IN THE CORRECT ORIENTATION! There is an arrow indicating water flow on the device.

Missing hose
My product arrived on time. Howrver I was in no rush to install. By the time I got around to installing and noticed there was a missing hose it was too late for me to return the item.

What a POS! It did everything but pump water. Should be removed off this site.

installation requirements rendered almost useless
buyer beware: the output side of the pump must face up or pump will not operate, you cannot use this to boost shower pressure as a result. furthermore: requires close proximity to power outlet as it runs off of a dc adapter plug.it does the intended job otherwise, although it is loud and annoying.
