OldShark Car Suction Cup for Dash Cam GS505

Bought this as a replacement to the original bracket which came with my OldShark dash cam last year. Fixed it as instructed by the manual and it worked fine for about 3 weeks before it became loose. I didn't have chance to inspect it before the camera and fixing sheared and swung by the power cable across my windscreen whilst driving. As you can see from my photos the bracket holding the camera to the suction cup has a jagged break.I had to buy this replacement as the original bracket fell apart. You'd have thought OldShark fittings are designed for OldShark cameras. Obviously not, and other reviews would support this.The suction cup has a sticky face which holds strong to the windscreen (and any other surface for that matter), and this is the only positive I can find with it.Just shows if you buy cheap you pay twice. I'll spend a bit more money on quality fixings and cameras next time.

So so quality. Would not stay on my wind shield more than a few hours or until I braked.

Smaller than the one provided but fits all the same.

Arrived quickly and does the job
