Puppy cam!
We use this to monitor our puppy. Camera is pointed at crate and monitor is up with us on second floor. We can hear if he is whining (to go out) and view to see if he’s up. Works remotely as well if you are out of the house and need to check in.

Monitor freezing
The camera freezes on the monitor. I heard noises coming from my baby’s room but on the camera she was still sleeping. I had to turn the monitor off. When I turned it back on, I saw that she was awake and crawling in her bed. There have been other times that I’ve turned the monitor on after we put her to bed and she didn’t show up in the crib! The monitor showed an empty crib. I had to restart the monitor and then she appeared on the screen. I haven’t tried the wifi app yet but probably have to switch because this is a problem as its been occurring almost daily for the past week.

Worked until it didn’t
Worked great until the screen went blank one day. Our baby is about 14 months, so used over 1 year before it stopped. It worked well for us until it didn’t. We are getting by using the app since the monitor only has sound now. I don’t if I would recommend for long term.Update: made it to 18 months and moved houses. Now the app won’t let us synch with the standalone camera using a different WiFi. We had to buy a new (used) monitor to get by another 6-months to a year. Our baby is still not quite ready for no camera sleep yet. Dropped the rating to 2 stars; I do not recommend this monitor. Buy something else.

Very quiet
We had to get this one to replace our previous Motorola baby monitor that had a short in the camera. This one is bigger and brighter, but so quiet. We can barely hear anything even when the TV is on in his room. I wish it would dim more like that last one did because I don't like just turning the screen off so I can roll over and see what's going on in the middle of the night. But this is one is just too bright. I will see if I can find a way to rig it to be louder somehow. We'll keep it because it's good enough, but too bright and not loud enough.

Works great until it just stops
Worked great until it completely stopped working. Purchased in June 2020 and the screen stopped working out of the blue in December 2020.
