Purchased these six times previously and they've been ok, not always silent, but they've lasted well and been healthy. They arrive in bags that are normally sealed, however the latest batch were in an open bag and were 99% dead, with just 4 or 5 showing any signs of life and those only limping with no ability to jump. Perhaps this was from the recent colder weather, although some species of crickets can survive for a week or so below zero degrees and they weren't on the road for long, so this might instead have been from disease. In any case, they all had to be binned as the few that still had life being potentially dangerous for the Leo.Edit: After raising the issue the seller is very helpful and keen to resolve, and this could be down to the combination of cold weather and postal strikes.

When arrived some were already dead the box did smell stronger than normal boxes smell and then by day 6 all were dead in box even tho I fed them..proberly wouldn't use again

I am extremely pleased with the delivery time and the quantity of crickets but I must say I was quite put out when I lay down in my bed (I keep my crickets and beardie in my room) and I started hearing this chirping that got progressively louder. At first I thought ok, maybe just 1 or 2 aren't silent but boy oh boy was I wrong. Before I knew it I had a colony of 500 signing crickets who made it quite difficult for me to sleep. I've had to relocate them to my bathroom (not convenient in terms of space).Other than the noise, satisfied thus the reason for 3 stars! I will be writing a complaint however
