I have a couple of similar tources already, but I really wanted a light which I could hang up if needed and this fits that role superbly. This product ships is full retail packaging and in the box we get the lantern itself, a USB charging cable, a small instruction leaflet and an s-binerThe instructions are very brief and mainly just cover the specs of the product. Something they mention, and I didn’t notice when I first ordered this, is that the lantern also acts a power bank. You can connect USB powered items to the second USB port (type A) and run or charge them via the charge stored in the lantern. A very useful extra functionThere is a permanently connected metal loop at the top of the lantern to let you hang it up, but you can use this in conjunction with the included s-biner to attach it securely to other loops or hooks whilst also being able to release it very easily and quickly when you want to use it as a torchThere is just a single control button situated on one side near the top of the lantern. This is not where your thumb will be when carrying it as a torch (shame). So, you need to press the button and set the desired mode, either before picking it up and or use a second hand to control the mode.Each press of the button cycles through the different lighting modes available: Torch beam on > Torch bean on but dimmer > lantern on (white bright) > lantern on (white dimmer) > lantern on (red light) > lantern on (red blinking), everything offNB: The USB power out port is active and can power other devices even when the lantern is not emitting any light and is effectively offAn excellent item for camping, car maintenance or simply to add extra light around the house when you need it

I’m actually really impressed with this camping lantern and it’s much better than I expected! It’s easy to use and I like that it has a lot of functionality built in to it like the very handy and helpful power bank! I think the light is very bright and I like that it has different modes too like the emergency lights. It’s simple and straightforward to operate and i can easily switch between the different modes. I also like the size of the lantern because it’s not too big or bulky. It’s much lighter than it looks and it’s very portable so ideal for when we are camping. The handle is comfortable to hold and I like that the light has the hanging hook built in. It charges quickly and the battery life is long lasting. It’s waterproof and safe to use in all weathers so I’m not worried it’ll break or become damaged if it rains. I feel the build quality is great because it’s a strong, sturdy and durable bit of kit so will last me a long time. I’ve not had any issues with using it anyway so I do recommend it. I think it’s great value for money and give this camping light a big thumbs up!

The media could not be loaded.  This is a great light to have at home or for camping. It can be used as a torch, as a lantern, and power bank.It is lightweight and very easy to use. Just tap the power button to cycle between torch/brightness/lantern/red light/flashing red light. It's about the size of a can of juice. It is stable and can be hung from a loop on the top, or sat on its side with the handle up. They do include an s clip for easy clipping onto anything. The red light lantern is a good feature for fishing or when you want to keep light levels low for discretion.This can be used as apower bank. It's charges slowly but is definitely better than nothing and will help if caught out.The light is very bright with lots of variation for brightness and modes and the battery has lots of life to it and can easily last a camping trip. We keep it near the door should we need to inspect the grounds or as an emergency lantern light.The only negative is the cover for the charging port. It's plastic and has an o ring round it. So it doesn't seal fully and does pop open if nudged. So at best it would be splash proof. If you are worried a bit of duct tape over it does the job.Good quality and value. Recommended. This is a great little lamp/torch that doesn't require batteries and is completely rechargeable.It comes in a neat box, with instruction leaflet and a USB Micro charging lead. The lamp is partly charged so you can use it straight away.It's an interesting combination of lights - when you first press it on, the torch at the top end comes on. The handle allows you to carry and point it like a normal torch and it's plenty bright. The 2nd press on the power button makes the light a little dimmer if you don't need it so bright or need to conserve the battery.Press it a 3rd time and the torch switches off and the lamp comes on. This too is a good brightness. You can then turn it upside down and stand it on a table or the ground and it will act as a perfectly nice bright lamp when you need your hands free.You can even hang it up via the wire hook on the end if you prefer. Another press on the power button acts much like the torch did in that it will dim the lamp a little, while another press turns it solid red, and another press makes the red light flash on and off so would be good in an emergency.It's very lightweight and has good battery power, and it also acts as a powerbank if you need it to charge your phone in an emergency. I think it's a great bit of kit for those who have a caravan as well as hiking and camping trips. Also very handy in the home if there is ever a powercut.Really like this, it's a clever design that is extremely useful and I think it well worth the money.
