The Best Base Featured Laser Measure I have used in the past 15 years.
This is easily the best laser measure tool I have used in the past 15 years at this price point. I measure real estate, hundreds of properties a year and have used many different brands of laser measure from inexpensive cheapos to expensive trying to find one that is accurate, reliable and easy to use. This Bosch Blaze GLM 100-23 is the best for the price offering base level measuring with the ability to change the type of measurement from Feet, Inches, MM, CM and others. I was skeptical due to the price but wow this is the one for me and my needs. Very clear and easy to read backlit screen, accurate, easily fits in my pocket, has a place to attach a lanyard which makes it easy to pull out of my pocket. The screen is bright and has a bright laser that I can see in sunlight. If your looking for a budget friendly design with good utility, reliability and is accurate you cant go wrong with this one.

Easy to read - designed for pros
I've ordered a few others before that are cheap(ish). There are many that seem to think the users of these tools are dainty i/Apple users. No rubber padding, gleaming smooth surfaces, colorful yet tiny display fonts - what were those designers thinking?!No, I am glad to say that this unit had someone who actually either do DIY/Trade work or spoke to some people who actually use this. And this is for the US / Imperial non metric market. It displays in decent size fonts ... and in fractions. So for US / Canada users, this is way better than many which only show decimal Imperial measurements. The display is white on black, and its very legible in both bright and dark situations. Acuracy - its acurate enough for my use - 1/8th ... it can do finer than that to 1/16th.And if you need to, you can always do decimal imperial, or good old metric. Honestly, metric is so much easier, but unfortunately imperial is entrenched in the construction industry so we have to still specify in imperial. This particular model is 100ft - which is way plenty for my use, but laser measures shine when use for long distances beyond 20 ft, because that's when a tape measure then becomes difficult to manage. This is especially useful when setting up target practices (though most likely you'll use a range finder for those applications).Honestly, this is plenty good for my use. There are fancier models that help you calculate various compound calculations, and memory functions - such as area, but really - what you likely be actually using is a quick beep to get the measurement across a room/s.

Good and accurate
Accurate and easy to use, but no instructions.Press the big red once to turn on and start measuring, press again to turn the laser off. Press and hold to turn the device off.Pressing the 1/x button cycles through the rounding options, changing the measurement from the closest 1/32” to 1/2”. Note that claimed accuracy is only +/- 1/16”.Display is bright enough to see in sunlight and small enough to fit in a pocket.I compared multiple distances to a tape measure and they were all within 1/32”.2x AAA batteries included!

Time saver!
Works great and speeds things up tremendously when you are working solo and don't have anyone to help hold the other end of a tape. Very accurate as ell. I would recommend.

Simple and Excellent Laser
I use this laser measure for architectural surveying to create asbuilt floor and ceiling plans. I work alone and use a laser measure and a sturdy 25' measuring tape. For 10 years I had been using a very premium but heavy bricked sized Leica measuring laser, until I met a contractor in the field who had a pocket sized laser like this. I was surprised at how small they were, and in the last couple years, how affordable they were. So I made the jump and purchased a different laser from this one two years ago. However, its battery life was a little sporadic, there were a lot of features I didn’t need, and it could only measure to a 1/16 of an inch, which is more than I need. You could also change the reference point of where the laser measures from (moving it from the rear of the laser to the front). This is not helpful when you can change it without realizing it.So recently I was researching newer lasers, since I was not satisfied and I found this GLM100-23. I spent time comparing it to some of the more expensive Bosch lasers, like the one with the green beam, but eventually decided this one. I measured with it yesterday and was so pleased with it.I love the fact you can adjust the fraction amount to what you need – gone was my mental math to assign a decimal value to 1/16ths of an inch (its faster to write down the decimal than the fraction). The screen showed one measurement at a time, but was so legible! The other laser had a screen that would time out and then it became hard to read. This laser has white numbers against a black screen that doesn’t time out! The laser is so small and lightweight, you can easily hold it and the tablet at the same time. Lastly, the reference point for the laser can’t change, so there’s no way to fudge up the measurements you need. Overall this laser is EXACTLY what I needed. Also, a note: the "click wheel" is an internally displayed menu that allows you to change the measurement option (from feet, to inches, to centimeters, to millimeters, and then feet as displayed 0'-00"). You access it by long pressing the fraction button.

Quick and easy
This little tool is a time saver. When framing a wall that is not square it is a simple matter to find the length without having to pull the tape. You can adjust the accuracy down to 1/32 of an inch. I just leave it at 1/16" as that is usually close enough for rough cut lumber. Trying to read 1/32" on a tape is all but impossible. It also makes calculating square footage much faster as well. The read out on the screen is clear and easy to read in all but the brightest light. In that case, just hit the hold function and shade it a bit. The learning curve to use the tool is not steep at all. I would buy this again if I need another one.
