Wyze Offical: Window Mount for Wyze Cam OG, v3, v3 Pro, v4

I have a camera that I had previously struggled to secure in the front window. My Husky kept knocking it loose and disconnecting it. I wasn't sure if this Wyze mount could stand up to the punishment, but after many months it hasn't come loose once! Very functional, but not repositionable. The black front also vastly improves the picture.

I tried for a long time to get a camera on my back porch/entrance. Getting power was too difficult. I decided to get this and try mounting it inside on the window. Works great. There are some things to remember. 1) It's straight ahead not mounted high and aiming down. So, to get the best view of my back porch, it had to be mounted quite low. There is an ANGLED version of this, but I'm not sure if it's made by Wyze or a 3rd party. 2) Make sure you LEAVE NIGHT VISION ON; but make sure you turn the night vision LIGHTS OFF. Also, make sure the camera indicator light IS OFF. These will reflect in the glass of the window and the camera won't be able to see out. With Infrared ON, Lights OFF, works great. The night vision, as long as it has some ambient light, works great. I've yet to not have SOME light for the IR to work good. The only time you really need the IR lights on is if it's a pitch black environment, like an indoor building, no windows, no lights, pitch black. In which case, there wouldn't be a window mount, so you'd leave the IR lights and camera power light on. Use it for the way it was meant, and it's great.

They work fine. The picture quality is good. The only issue is that the field of vision isn't very wide. I wanted to mount them indoors to look outside. The window mount that I bought requires that they be flush with the window. That didn't give me much to work with.

This window mount is a great, simple solution for my Wyze camera. It’s secure, easy to install, and holds the camera perfectly in place. Highly recommend if you need to monitor from a window.

Great device. Holds my v3 perfectly. Easy to use. Sticks to the window well. I can put my camera in and out of it with ease if I want to move the camera temporarily. It does help with the glare. However, I made a stupid mistake and didn't think about the my double-paned window I wanted to use it for, so it's completely useless during nighttime. But the window at the front of the house only had one glass and it works great there. Highly recommend it for normal single-paned windows.

The mount basically does what it's advertised to do, allow you to attach the camera nearly flush to the window. Once in place, the mount seems to work pretty well. Negatives 1) Depending on the camera you have, there will be some reflection that comes through. I'm using it with a white V4, and the opening shows the little corner sections of white that reflect a bit in the window during the day. 2) Make sure you have absolutely the correct spot to attach the mount before doing so. Wyze only includes one set of sticky pads. If you remove the mount, the sticky pads will stay and it is a pain in the ass to clean up.

These make a huge difference when your camera is looking out a window Completely eliminates the glare and light reflection.

I use these mounts at my home and camp because I prefer keeping my cameras indoors looking out windows. that way my cameras stay cleaner and hopefully last longer. Before, having them rest next to my windows, I had a lot of reflections and glare, but these mounts really cut that down and give a much more clear view. Installation was straightforward, although they're not really reusable. I have seen some "no-name" alternatives before, but haven't tried them to give an opinion. Overall, they do exactly what I needed and make indoor camera setups much more effective.

En mi caso tuve que despegarlo de la posición inicial de la ventana y una parte del adhesivo se quedó pegado a ella por lo que hubo necesidad de poner plástico tipo envoltura de juguetes en la zona del adhesivo y colocarle cinta adhesiva de doble cara para volver a fijarla en una nueva posición. Un muy buen accesorio original diseñado para tu Wyze Cam 4, y compatible con WCam 4, WCam 3, WCam 3 Pro, WCam OGy WCam OG Telephoto según instructivo del producto.

Ok for mounting your camera on window but does little if anything to reduce reflections and is pretty useless at night. Overpriced and oversold.

Poor value. Not worth $30 Australian. Worth $5 Max for a small bit of black rubber and 2 adhesive strips.
