Strong magnetic tip jacks for banana plugs
So these magnetic test probes are pretty cool leaving your hands-free to hold the multimeter or to keep them safely away from higher voltages. These tip probe tips are rated up to 600 volts cat4 it also says rated cat3, 1000 volts. Just be aware depending on the iron content of the circuit or metal piece you're trying to test the probes will have a stronger or weaker attraction and may not work on all terminals, which should be pretty obvious if you understand even the basics of magnetism.

Designed primarily to attach to breakers with recessed screw studs for hands-free multimeter usage.
These are supposed to use with test leads that have banana connectors on both ends. These don't slip onto any needle probe style test lead. So you do need to have special leads for this or already be using modular leads. The goal of this design is to get the magnetic head into the recessed part of a breaker's stud screw that holds down the wire. The magnets aren't terribly powerful and can easily be wrenched off so having it be in a recessed hole where the screw is adds to the strength of the connection. I don't think I'd use this inside an automobile where it falling could potentially cause another problem. But inside a breaker panel with the recessed holes helping to hold them in I would absolutely use this and recommend this if you're a technician dealing with circuit breakers often or if you need to have a hands-free interface to a circuit breaker in order to detect things like voltage drop or other issues as you're working with a circuit and need a meter attached. They're a little bit of a niche use, so they may sit in your kit for a while if you're not dealing with electrical panels or with breakers in general. But if you are investigating electrical oddities at the breaker panel these are a great connector to have and will probably pay for themselves on job one.

great little tool for a one man shop!
I didn't even realize you could get little magnetic banana jack clips like this. I'm thrilled with these things. They're now a standard addition to my toolkit. It's easy to plug it in and attach it to the breaker or any metal screw or even like a casement ground. Overall really thrilled with these things and the magnet on it is super strong which is great because I don't usually have any help in the lab. It attaches to the screws on breakers really easily and you definitely do need to use an insulated banana jack plug though. Be very careful about leaving a gap where you could shock yourself but I'm happy with these things, very happy
