Gardman A01110 Shepherd's Hook, Black, 210mm x Depth: 30mm x Height 1010mm

Having plenty of grey squirrels in the area, I wanted to feed the birds and not the squirrels. This shepherd's hook fits the bill. The hook is made from 2 sections of sturdy steel and the 2 halves screw together. The section that goes into the ground is like a long h shape, if you understand my meaning, which means the hook will not rotate ensuring that your bird feeder will stay as put. To install it, simply place where required and stomp on the horizontal part of the h and it's ready for you to hang your feeder. In strong winds, it does sway about somewhat but this doesn't seem to distract the birds. When I bought it, I did think it was a little expensive, however, once received it does seem reasonable value.

This arrived in a few days and was well packed.It is very solid and should last for years.I had no problem screwing it together, but then I used my smarts and pushed the bottom half into the ground first then screwed the top half on.simon.

At first I thought the two rods wouldn't screw together when this arrived. It was a bit awkward, but eventually I got the hang of it and once I did it was extremely simple.After you have screwed the ends together, you can put the hook in the ground. I found this easy after the rain. The hook is extremely sturdy, and you have to exert considerable force to get it back out of the ground.I've got a pretty heavy bird feeder hanging from this and it's perfectly secure.A very good product and I'm very pleased.

I’ve bought 3 of these over the years and have had to return 2 of them because of the awful screw joints. When the 2 parts of the pole do screw together it is a great product giving the perfect height for bird feeders, but I’ve now given up on them. Like others have said this arrived in a terrible state in a completely unsuitable MASSIVE cardboard box (seriously Amazon, isn’t the point to try and be greener these days), so of course it’s been battered around inside the box and chipped horribly. To make matters worse the 2 parts won’t screw together and Amazons return policy on this item is so horribly convoluted that I won’t risk ordering another. Very poor all round.

Nice product, feels solid and is easy to push into the ground and to reposition as needed. Durable feeling paint finish for rust resistance. Bought these to support moroccan style garden lanterns and certainly did the job. Would be more than enough to take a bird feeder. Comes in two parts that screw together. Have bought one for testing and will be buying more.

Really strong a bit hard to screw together but they are so good ended up ordering two more for myself as first one I order was a gift with a lantern for someone decided to get two for my back garden but disappointed when I opened one of the parts was missing

I ordered two of these and found the product was very strong, and the right height. However. on the first Shepherds hook when screwing both parts together one of the screw threads wasn't long enough so the top part of the pole just kept falling off. With the second Shepherds hook the screw thread snapped off completely while screwing together.Both shepherds hook had to be thrown away - very disappointed. Had the screws threads on both these Shepherds hook been better it would have been a very good product.

Habe schon lange nach einer Möglichkeit gesucht, um eine Futterstation katzensicher aufzuhängen. Mit dem Gardman Schäferstock habe ich nun endlich sie optimale Lösung gefunden. Der massive Hakenhalter kam gut verpackt und schneller als erwartet mir DHL bei mir an. Danke an die Firma Edinger für die promt auf meine Anfrage reagiert hat und den Artikel in einwandfreiem Zustand geliefert hat! Über die Verpackung kann ich mich nicht beschweren, alles aus resyclebarem Material, super. Habe daraus ein Katzenhaus gebaut.Die Stangen sind aus beschichtetem , massivem Metall und bestehen aus zwei Teilen, die man problemlos zusammenschrauben kann.Vorsicht, am Gewinde ist eine Gummischutzkappe, die vorher entfernt werden muß! Man muß aufpassen, dass man die Stangen nicht schräg ineinander verschraubt, (dann ist das Gewinde hin!) hat man das berücksichtigt, ist auch die Schraubverbindung fest und wackelt nicht. Am einfachsten geht das, wenn man das Unterteil schon mal in die Erde rammt und dann die obere Hälfte aufschraubt. Insgesammt ragt der Schäferstock dann nochca.185 cm aus dem Boden, keine Chance für unsere Katzen, wenn der Schäferstock frei auf der Wiese Steht. Das einrammen mir dem Fuß ist auch easy, am untzeren Ende ist so eine Art Stufe, ein, zwei Tritte darauf und das Teil steht waagerecht und wackelt kaum mehr. Dürfte auch einen Sturm überstehen. Ich kann den Artikel nur jedem empfehlen, der keinen Baum im Garten hat oder aber Katzen, die auch auf Bäume klettern. Der Schäferstock würde sich auch für das Aufhängen einer Gartenlaterne oder Blumenampel eignen. Also alles in Allem eine prima Lösung. Bestelle wahrscheinlich noch einen.

Je suis très contente avec le crochet. Bonne qualité, bon prix. Il est facile a installer. Parfait avec la mangeoire que j'ai acheté au même temps.
