I’ve been buying illy Classico Filter Coffee regularly for a while now, and it’s become my go-to daily brew. It’s smooth, mild, and perfect for filter coffee machines or a French press. Even though it’s classed as a medium roast, it tastes lighter than many others, which makes it ideal for all-day sipping without being too strong or bitter. The aroma is absolutely lovely—you get that hit of fresh, sweet scent the moment you pop open the tin (and let’s be honest, opening a new tin of coffee is half the joy!). I’ve found it to be good value for money, especially given the consistent quality and balanced flavour. It tastes fresh straight from the tin, and the lid reseals well, keeping the coffee in great condition between uses. If I had one small warning—it’s about the initial opening. The tin is a bit pressurised, so when you pull the tab, the coffee can almost burst out if you're not careful. I recommend opening it slowly and on a flat surface. Not a huge issue, just something to be aware of. I’m now considering trying the whole bean version so I can grind it myself and fine-tune the flavour even more—especially if I want to control coarseness for different brew methods. This coffee is so enjoyable and i drink it every morning. I also really like the packaging as I am able to re-use it for storage, art products, and several applications. I was dissapointed that my last order included jars without lids. not only did this mean my re-use options were limited but it also meant that once open I had to transfer the contents to a less appropriate container.

Taste good, long shelve-life (late 2027).

I really like the taste of this product, which is sold in cafes. It's great to be able to find it on Amazon, and the offers are so affordable. Illy truly has a very high-quality flavor. The fact that it's sold in a box makes it easy to use and allows me to use it for a long time without spoiling. Thank you.

Very nice coffee I have just bought it and I have used half of it already smells very fresh the seal was very tightly sealed and delivery was quick

Really impressed with this coffee. Smooth/no bitterness. I don’t like strong coffee and I have read so many reviews on so many. I had bought a cafetière and wanted a milder roast. I normally drink de-caf instant, but A certain well known brand’ has dropped the quality and upped the price. This was truly a shot in the dark. For approx 500ml water For ‘not strong’ but tasty coffee I used 1+1/2 level scoops and for me this was perfect. I will be buying more.

Disappointing taste

I gave 3-stars for 2 reasons… First off, 5-stars for the coffee. Nothing wrong with the coffee -in my opinion this one of the better coffees. Now 0-stars for Amazon. I was absolutely disappointed when my friend received this coffee I had ordered for her and the can came with no lid. AND I paid double the price of $26 not to receive a lid. I have to ask do the workers not inspect the package before going out? Now I just ordered another 2 cans for my friend at a lesser cost, so we wait and see if Amazon provides lids with these coffee cans. 😞

My favorite coffee in the world. Nothing can top it. It has a perfect mix of aroma and flavor. Lacks the acidity and harshness of other coffees I've tried. Italian perfection. For espresso cappuccino and drip coffee.
