It’s served me well for many years whenever I’ve used my Shure microphone. However, if I ever wanted to use a microphone with a larger diameter, the microphone wouldn’t fit in my Shure microphone holder.Not so with these microphone holders. They can accommodate a much wider array of sizes of microphones - even cordless microphones.Also, whereas my Shure microphone holder is made of a much stiffer plastic, these microphone holders are more flexible, allowing them to “open up“ even more than their original diameter to accommodate even larger sizes.The swivel portion of these microphone holders allows for up to 180° of rotation for positioning your mic where you want it. The adjustment knob on the side of the holder locks the microphone into place securely - no worries about it moving around on you during a performance.I can’t predict the longevity of these microphone holders, but I have no reason to think that they won’t last a long time. If I have any problems with these in the future, I’ll be sure to update my review.For now, at less than $10 for a pair of them, they are a real bargain.

Too large for a SM58, so it does not hold tightly.Plastic threads rather than a brass insert like the better clips, so a strip hazard.I DO like the wing nuts for the tightener.

I used these to adapt my Ham radio microphone to a mic boom arm and it fits great.Sturdy material and comes with the 5/8" to 3/8" thread adapters.

Wide spacing on holder to accommodate larger mikes - comes nicely boxed with a pair of thread adapters - tried these on my Sennheiser wired mikes and a few larger diameter wireless mikes and fit them all fine. Recommended !
