Gates TCK328RB RPM High Performance Timing Belt Component Kit

I was very hesitant to order this kit for my Legacy GT after reading all the horror stories of the crappy Chinese idler failures. When I opened the box if I saw 'Taide' or 'Made in China' it was going straight back.I was very happy to see the kit I received were all Japan sourced components from OE manufacturers, including the belt. Koyo, NTN, NSK and GMB Idlers. Belt is clearly marked with direction and timing.It's going on the car tomorrow so I'll update the review after it's on.

Timing stamped “Made inJapan All pulleys clearly marked “Koyo” and “Japan”. Detailed tsb and detailed installation instructions as well as special tool for manual trans cars. Perfect. Thorough impressed.

Had to replace my water pump for some other work, found a little oil on the tensioner so ordered this timing belt kit. So far it's only been on for a few miles but everything is running nicely.

Used this kit with an oem water pump so far no problems with about 1500 miles on it all components looked good quality and felt good quality make shure you don't get any oil on the belt when installing it or the blue paint will peel off

Internal length of small idler is longer than OEM. Bolt does not fit. Please provide a part number or bolt that will fit the new small idler

kit was awesome but the blueness on the belt moves and leaves residues on rollers, tensioner. only thing i didnt like.

Good stuff put on my 02 wrx confirmed fitment on ej205. This belt is the same for any DOHC EJ series motor.
