GPS Cat Mini Clip Mounting (Pack of 2)

Bought these Tractive GPS Cat Mini Clip Mounts for my cat Sunny, who technically qualifies as a small ottoman with legs. I was honestly skeptical they would hold up considering Sunny moves through life like a furry wrecking ball with a snack addiction.Surprisingly, the clips have stayed attached really well. Sunny has rolled across the porch, squeezed under furniture he absolutely should not fit under, and attempted several unauthorized neighborhood patrols, and the tracker is still hanging on strong.The mounts were easy to attach and seem pretty durable. Best part is I can now locate Sunny instantly whenever he disappears for his daily “mysterious mission,” which usually turns out to be sleeping behind the grill or demanding food from neighbors who think he’s starving.If these clips can survive Sunny, they can probably survive anything.

These clips look flimsy, but they hold great! I was worried that the tracker would come in attached. My cat pulled the collar off many times, but the tracker stayed intact. I like this better than the rubber cover. The rub cover kept splitting. I highly recommend it.

Works just as great as the original

I’ve purchased these plastic holders multiple times now, but unfortunately, I keep running into the same issue: they break quite easily. While they do work well with the Tractiv tracker and hold it securely in place, the problem arises when you need to remove the tracker every so often. The constant pulling and putting the tracker back in the holder causes the hard plastic to eventually snap. This has happened to me several times, which is really frustrating.After dealing with the breakage, I’ve had to switch to using the silicone holder instead, which, although more flexible, seems to hold up better over time. It’s unfortunate because, in terms of fit and functionality, the plastic holders do their job well, but the durability just isn’t there. If you don’t mind replacing them frequently or want a more temporary solution, these could work, but personally, I wouldn’t recommend them due to how easily they break.

If you have a Tractive cat Mini the pass thru design can allow the collar to slip out of one or both buckles.I used heat shrink to close the gap which still allows the narrow cat collar to pass thru for a more secure fit.The tracker fits with a reassuring snap so it won’t come off the mount.

So far I have only used 1 of these (to replace the 1 that broke that came with our Tractive). It was a perfect size replacement, works great, light weight and appears to be durable. Good for the price.

What I needed if only I could have received the cat collar for it.

One of the two broke in half after just 2.5 months of use. Luckily they come in a two pack I guess.

Diese Befestigungs Klammer ist genauso gut wie die originale von Tractive. Sie lässt sich einfach in das Halsband einlegen und hält den Tracker fest an seiner Position.

We think these are far better than the rigid plastic ones. They are way easier to fit the cat tracker in to. The plastic one is very flimsy. This has way more give and wriggle room to get them in and out of. Definitely will buy this type again in future as our preference.
