My son was having a really hard time taking naps at daycare because they don’t allow the kids to bring separate pillows. I bought this nap mat hoping it would make him a little more comfortable, and it actually solved the problem for us. The built-in pillow/padded area gives him enough cushioning that he feels like he has a pillow without needing to bring one separately. Since we started sending this with him, he’s been napping at daycare, which has made a huge difference. He also genuinely likes his nap mat and seems much more comfortable using it. For us, the pillow insert was definitely the feature that made this purchase worth it. I’d absolutely recommend it for daycare, especially if your child has trouble sleeping without a pillow.

My son is required to have a nap mat for preschool but he no longer naps so I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on something he’d lay on from time to time. It’s a better quality than I expected and the minky side is nice and soft. My son is almost 5 and the size is good. It’s easy to clean when he brings it home since it can be thrown right into the wash. It’s easy to roll right up and has Velcro straps to keep it rolled. The pillow isn’t super fluffy, but he doesn’t care as he doesn’t always sleep with a pillow at home. If the pillow is important to your child maybe you could buy a different one to put in the slot.

Purchased this nap mat when my son was 1 as he was needing this for nap at daycare. He is now 3.5 and still using this nap map for naps at daycare. The minky interior is very soft and the padding is just right for what we need. This has been washed every week for the last two years. The color is just starting to fade, but that is to be expected after a couple years. The size is great my son would be able to use this for a few more years to come. Simple design and easy to roll up with a convenient handle and name card.

Cute pattern and super cozy and soft. Washes well so far. The pillow is pretty flat but my toddler doesn't seem to mind. Easy for him to roll up by himself at school.

When I initially received this nap mat, it seemed really thin and the pillow was more or less flat. I almost returned it as did not think it would be very comfortable. However, I ended up keeping it because it rolls up nicely, is easy for my child to carry, and fits in his school cubby. After washing it, I noticed that the pillow and padding have become much fuller. It has been durable so far and has been great for school. Would definitely recommend!

Pros: decently thick, has held up in weekly machine washings (1.5 months so far) Cons: fabric picks easily, really dislike the Velcro (it would be better with straps and buckles like others)

Great for daycare cots, very easy to clean and transport, have been using it for 6 months plus with a wash every week and it has held up, still looks new.
