This was a gift for my adult daughter who loves wood handle brushes and is picky on the bristles. We prefer the boar and nylon mixed brushes to help smooth flyaways. She just told me the other night how much she loves her new brush!

My boyfriend bought this brush for himself. He has very fine hair and not a lot of it since the sides are shaved. He likes the brush because it forms to his head. I have very thick hair and a ton of it so when I used it I felt I was going to break it. I would recommend this brush for someone with fine and straight hair. It's a great brush and doesn't pull.

I have been an avid user of a particular detangling brush for many years now, but wanted to give this brush a try due to the unique bristle structure. The brush feels very solid in the hand, which I loved. I don’t think I’d call the handle “ergonomic”, but it is certainly a wider handle that fits easily in the palm. I love the variety of colors the brush comes in and am happy with the avocado shade. The bristles do not feel flexible to me, they actually feel a bit firm. The brushing experience is…different. I have a very sensitive scalp and I could feel the different levels of bristles “grabbing” the hair and combing though. I found the contact of the bristles to my scalp a little too much at times. It wasn’t exactly painful, but it wasn’t pleasant either. It almost feels like using a scalp scrubber-that intense, “invigorating” brush. I will say, my hair was very shiny, voluminous , and looked great after brushing, but I think my sensitive scalp just can’t handle the process! I recommend this brush to those with tougher scalps. For those with sensitive heads-this may not be the hair tool for us!

My daughter has very curly hair and this brush is her favorite. It separates the curls and they dry with more bounce.

It's become my new favorite brush since I cut my hair to my shoulders. I use it while I'm blow drying my hair and daily for lift. Visually, it's a very pretty design and works really well.
