Not perfect but good for the money and heats 10 x 16 shop with ease.
This stove works great just be forewarned to set it up outside and burn off the paint and wire brush it and paint on BBQ grill paint.Mine had a small hole in the flue weld but the body welds appear to be sealed although they are very poor ugly welds thy do seem to be functional.the scraper was too big to slide under the grating to clean out ashes so I modifed the scraper to fit.It will hold maximum maybe 5 wrist size logs and heats my 10x16 shop with the vents about 1/2 open to about 55F when it is 25F outside. this is perfect as any warmer and i have to start peeling layers of clothes off. When running full open i can get it the shop up about 68 using a fan to circulate air but then have to take off coveralls and jacket and cap cause it gets so warm in the shop. 2 or 3 big logs burn slow and not as hot.. 5 or 6 small logs burn fast and really hot. You need at least 2 logs to make it burn. one at a time wont do it it will sort of fizzle out but you get 2 or more and they reflect each others heat and will have a roaring fire. For early morning startup with a cold room i turn on a fan and blow are across it form left to right and it circulates the hot air around the room real nice. I use the top of the stove to melt wax and heat things so it comes in pretty handy. So yeah the paint is worthless with regards to heat, and the welds are crappy. but there are no choices in this price range. If you have money, buy a real cast iron stove. I didn't have the $ for a real stove so I bought this and with the repaint it seems to be working well after maybe using it 6 or 7 days.I figure:+ 0 star due to need to burn off and repaint+ 0 star due to crappy welds+1 star for the price+ 1 star for effective it puts out tons of heat.+ 1 star easy to assemble and to move if needed+ 1 star the heater tubes and top gratings are useful to heat things on top. I may get an old stainless steel coffee perculator...I plan to line the floor under it with blocks or concrete wall board or drywall just to cover my bare plywood floor as a safety precaution in case a charcoal chunk falls out somehow but for now i have a steel bucket under it to scrape the ashes into. If/when this wears out i am going to copy the design using a propane tank or something and weld up my own just like it except heavier steel and pretty welds. My flue is 2 sections of this pipe funneled into a 4 inch adapter and a 6 inch adapter, then horizontal through insulated wall flu and then vertical adpated to 4 inch for maybe 6 more feet. It drafts great, I think due to a long flu. Also i sort of cheat, i have a propane tank and torch and give the kindling a 30 second blast of propane fire and there is immediate heat and rapid fire start.

Being aware about some bad welding incidents
Talk about quick, I bought this item from Amazon on a Monday, it was shipped on Tuesday and was delivered here in AZ on Wednesday. Being aware about some bad welding incidents, know it could be luck of the draw, but I was most pleasantly surprised at the excellent welding on this stove. The guy or girl who did it is ready for working on pipelines. Being an eternal tinkerer, I have started on some mods which I enjoy doing.

Nice inexpensive stove
Nice inexpensive stove, BUT if you ever have an issue with this 2.75" stove pipe forget it because you cannot replace it or purchase additional 2.75" stove pipe. I would suggest purchasing one of the stoves with standardized 4" or 6" stove pipe that you can purchase just about anywhere. Spend a little more and get it right the first time....Now the only option I have is to either buy a complete stove again with the 2.75" pipe or buy a more expensive one with standardized stove pipe.

Great little heater for the price
As I had read once I pre used the Heater I did have to repaint the heater with good paint because the paint it came with burned off with the first heating of the unit. The legs are a little week. I had to use wire on the legs to keep them from spreading out to far. Still a great heater for the price.

Heat it up right
I am very impressed with this little stove so far. I was able to put it together in a matter of about 10 minutes and then I made a nice fire inside to make a really hot fire to burn off the paint and get this stove ready for use in our 4 season ten. This is a good stove for late fall, early winter or slate spring but I don't think I would use it for a really cold winter time. I love that all the pares will fit inside the main part of the stove for storage and portability. It is great that it comes with a carrying bag to help with this stove's portability.I LOVE THIS!!!!

Awesome for the price
Burn off the coating outside first!!!! Can’t stress that enough! For what it is it works pretty good in my 10x16 garage. Small but puts out some good heat and is pretty well made. Use GRAY fire caulk when putting the chimney together.

Not bad.
I've only fired it up once. It needed modifications right off the bat. The cap on the top of the chimney by the spark arrester came broken off. In one burning, I burned off most of the cheap black paint. I will probably add a damper. For the $68 I paid for it, I'm satisfied so far.

Good little stove
It came in today it was easy to set up the front door needs a little work other than that I like it set up a fire in it to burn off the paint a little smoke came out the front door at first it stopped when I got the dampers open right. All and all its a good little stove for the price.
