perfect
Four stars...I was so reluctant to remove that one star, I have to tell you.The price though, it's seriously steep for a handful of goodness, so 4 stars, sorry Sheila G!Having said that though, this stuff is perfect.I originally came across an article in a local newspapers food section about Greenburg's Brownie Crunch and was thrilled; that's the product for me! I've always been the one to take the corner and edge pieces from the pan of brownies before anyone else could. So I went online to find some buying options and came across Sheila G's Brownie Brittle. What the heck, I'll try them both! The Greenburg's Brownie Crunch variety arrived first and I was seriously underwhelmed.Bland, crunchy but more in a stale way, like the crumbs in a brownie pan that's sat on the counter for too long. That deep, fudgy chocolate taste you equate with a good brownie was just not there, I was very disappointed. I didn't finish it and instead bought it to work where there are dozens of people with anxiety driven sweet-tooths. More condemning even than my review, they did not eat them!So when the Sheila G's arrived the next day, I was very skeptical, I was thinking that this was bound to be the same crap as the other brand, boy was I wrong!!I pulled out a big piece, thin, the size of a small cookie. I took a bite and ... Rapture. It exactly matched what I'd imagined when I first read that article about the concept/product.Crisp, fresh, crunchy yet almost chewy and that deep, rich chocolate flavor you expect from a really good brownie. It's probably just as well that it's expensive since I ate the (relatively small) bag in one sitting. So yes, it's a delicious product, just what your chocolate loving imagination dreams it will be.But it's expensive for one small bag billed as 2 servings on the product info; it comes out to two handfulls.I'll stick to being the first to get to the pan of brownies so the rest of my family can eat the middle...but now I know where I can get the next best thing if it's an emergency!*Update: so I originally paid $13 for one pack of Sheila G's. Having just checked, it's down to $3.08 but it's on the new Amazon Add-on program. So I added that missing 5th star!Cheap enough to buy to your hearts content!

Tasty
I ordered these with the hopes of finding a low calarie snack. These bites are delicious. Would have given a 5 star review but I have two minor issues. They get tossed around during shipping so pretty much are crumbs when they arrive and they are very pricey. For the amount that comes in the bag it should be half the price. Overall they are delicious and I would purchase again if I saw them in a store.

Good food, bad to ship, too fragile
Tastes really good, but unfortunately I think this is just an item that shouldn't be shipped. It is very frail, so instead of brittle, you get more crumbs than anything else. It's good, but for this price getting a lot of crumbs isn't worth it. They sell it in stores, I decided to try it for the free shipping.

LOVE LOVE YES
I think this stuff is great. I am a sweets junkie and this stuff makes me feel less guilty with all the satisfaction. Its in chip form which makes it a great snack item. Im very picky about flavor and I love this stuff. YES buy often and do recommend to friends. Thank you seller. JUST FYI this is a difficult item to have shipped because its like brittle so be kind and mindful because if you want it to your door it might arrive in smaller chips SO WORTH IT

1/4 of the bag was crumbs because it was sent in bubble wrap envelope and not a box
This is a good treat, but not my personal favorite. However, because it was not in a box, but rather mailed bubble wrap evelope a quarter of it was crumbled. So that wasn't great. I could not have given it as a gift in that condition.

nothing but crumbs!
This review is not about how the brittle tastes but rather its condition. I bought this to give to someone as a gift. The bag came sealed but in crumbs. There was not one solid piece in the whole bag. It was if it had been ground up or completely crushed. I could not give this to anyone as a gift. Very unhappy!!!! Not worth what it would cost to return.

Not a good snack!
I thought I would love this product, it was too hard and the taste was a little off. Usually I can eat a lot of junk food, but this I stopped after one taste.

I'm thinking compost bucket as it's just not good enough to waste the calories on . . . .
Really not very good. Sorta 'brownie-ish' in flavor but its very dry and really stretching the definition of 'toffee'. Maybe the way its made but nothing whatever in its flavor. Pass on this if you're looking for toffee and also probably if you're looking for a good brownie experience, too. Cheap enough to try, not to recommend to anyone. Was going to have it out for the Christmas party but now will have to wait until everyone has had the good stuff. Otherwise, I'm thinking compost bucket as it's just not good enough to waste the calories on . . . .
